How do people sell their YouTube accounts?

I'm curious how do people sell their accounts. Isn't youtube connected to the adsense, so what are the legal issues there? Or do people disconnect the adsense before selling?

The whole point of selling an account is for it to be monetized. Not having to go through a review process.

You can monetize your channel with affiliate offers. Most people make more money advertising affiliate offers on their channels than they make through YouTube monetization.

So people sell OG email and access and then someone who buys just changes adsense?
