Let's say someone purchased an item and is going to pay.

Do I have to receive the payment only using the PayPal checkout? or is there any option that the customer can directly send money from his card to my card?

Send him an invoice or have him send a direct payment to your email; both options allow senders to use their card.

With stripe you receive the money 7 days after the customer pay.
