Think LinkedIn ads campaign is different, since you have a budget to spend.

unfortunately I've never been a fan of books and things like that, ads are a very simple trial and error game in my opinion, all you need is some common sense.

Let's say you have a furniture factory, you need to think what possible clients might be interested in your tables, whether you are located in the US, Japan or Africa is the same. Maybe some video with an elegant office environment showcasing your table might perform better than an static image ad or a carousel or any other format available. If you can deliver overseas maybe it's a good idea to show the text in the ad in their local language instead of english.

After trying different things you should find your sweet spot, You know your product and goals better than anybody you don't really need any guru or book to tell you how to sell your own stuff.
