Hi,

I want to genuinely ask this question which is, Is High DA Nofollow Backlink Really Matters in Ranking at all or just link diversity. Please tell us from your experience

Kindly answer

Does hight DA links really matter?
Hello no, that depends on what website it's actually built and the authority of the site and the actual page in the eyes of Google
DA is just a way to make initial filtering while checking some websites, it can be easily manipulated

Does a Nofollow link matter?
maybe 2-3 months ago, but Google has announced itself that it will no longer use them for ranking,
but I don't actually trust google bullshit, I've seen some of my website's pages have dropped in ranking, which most of them have some cool no-follow links

That's for me personally, I've never seen or made a case study, things can be different

No follow links don't pass link juice, so it won't affect ranking.

Even if main domain have high DA, your newly created page have ZERO authority. So its just a noise in internet ocean.

DA was valuable metric when it was first introduced but in recent days many marketers know how to manipulate those metrics and nofollow links don't pass any link juice so for link diversity and to look legit you can use those links.

But that doesn't mean nofollow links are not worthy, one of the article I read from webmaster googleblog clearly states that they are using these attributes as hint for crawling and indexing purposes.

Here is the exact wording and reference article
All the link attributes, sponsored, ugc and nofollow, now work today as hints for us to incorporate for ranking purposes. For crawling and indexing purposes, nofollow will become a hint as of March 1, 2020. Those depending on nofollow solely to block a page from being indexed (which was never recommended) should use one of the much more robust mechanisms listed on our Learn how to block URLs from

Code:

Personally I feel if you built the links on relevancy and traffic then you don't have to worry much about DA and other metrics.

Believe me, Even High DA Do-follow links are not good if it's not relevant or difficult to get(case these days). Years Back used to get do-follow from reddit never helped me. Think about getting HI DA link from Facebook, quora, Wattpad, they all are giants of Internet but still give shit about nothing.
In my theory, the links which are more and more difficult to get and relevant no matter even if no-follow will give some trust in eyes of google.
And Not to forget F**K Google.

High DA No follow links are useful ( not that much as Do Follow links) But they too contribute link juice

Although no-follow links do not have a direct impact on your search engine results rankings, they have benefits that lead to better rankings. Some of the benefits include increasing traffic to your website, normalizing your profile, building brand awareness, leading to do-follow links, and boosting domain authority.

Indirectly they do matter only if you many users are clicking on your no follow link and coming to your website.

I think Google now decide if it follows a link or not. Press release links add no help for SEO despite they are doffffollow. And nofollow links from wikipedia can be treated as dofffffolow. It annouced that not comply the robots.txt, too.

Strictly talking about ranking..

The purpose of a NoFollow link is to make sure that the link is not used at all for ranking or signalling purposes.
However, it is always a good thing to ensure your link profile contains a good amount of nofollow links. No real website is going to have thousands+ of links with absolutely 0% nofollow.
Not to mention that Google has already officially announced that NoFollow is now treated as a suggestion as opposed to a directive: if GoogleBot thinks a link is really valuable and meaningful, it will follow and use it for ranking regardless of NF/DF.

Overall, DF or NF are not as important as AR and NR 9are relevant or non-relevant links. After relevancy, is the link contextual, and durable (not subject to being quickly removed). Then think about the authority of the site or page (since you don't have PageRank, Ahrefs DR/ MOV DA/ Majestic TF and referred domains will have to serve as indicators. If you are looking for good links the majority of the ones you'll select will be DF anyway, just don't treat it as the ultimate factor.

"nofollow" search engines not to pass authority from the linking page.
"********" is used to describe a link that passes the authority.
