It does not effects ranking improvement but it gives an impression of the blog being linked with diversified links.

Dont focus much on DA.
You can purchase new domain, spam it with thousand of porn backlinks, and tada!
Straight became high DA site. rofl

The DR/DA is legit if the site rank thousand of organic keywords, received thousand of organic traffic.
This 2 things in the only proof that Google love this site. Otherwise.. it's garbage site.

It's good for diversify backlink, though it doesn't pass link power but having No follow link from a quality site is good and it has its value.

i got a case for you. i had a wikipedia link for a test page of mine. it got improved in ranking. it went down the ranking when wikipedia mod removed it. i had done nothing else to this particular page. wanted to test out the whole no-follow link from wikipedia....

NO follow link won’t affect ranking- it means it wonk give any rank increase or decrease.

The Fact is Nofollow links don't pass link juice but It also looks SPAMMY if you only Build Do-follow inks. Nofollow is always good to diversify your link profile and many have also claimed that sometimes google also sees the number of Nofollow links in ranking but The Facts & algorithm have always changed with time.

Only if it's obtained in the right way. DA is being inflated lately with shitty links to sell guest posts. Can't conclude though.
