If the current search trend (big brands) is all Google has to offer, Apple can easily switch all their search to their internal one and nobody will notice.

Watching all of these companies butt heads with one another has been awesome. An easily interfaceable search engine with incredibly cheap ads would be a great way to pull some of the market share from google.
