1. Don't look at your phone the first 2 hours in the morning
2. Break your days into "mini-days". I use 3 "mini-days" that are 3 hours long each (5am - 8am, 8am-11pm, 1pm - 4pm). Imagine if you have 1095 days a year...instead of just 365
3. Tackle your most important task first when starting your work
4. Focus on one thing at a time - don't multitask!
5. Use Pomodoro technique (google it) to execute your tasks. Each of my mini-days has 3 hours. So i broke every hour of my mini-day into pomodoro sessions, it looks like this (25 minutes - Work on one task, 5 minutes - quick break, 25 minutes - Work on one task, 5 minutes - quick break = total of 60 minutes). After each mini-day, there is at least 10 minute break to reflect on what I did and review my mini-day.
6. Plan each day the night before. Always plan and prioritize the tasks that need to be completed the next day, by writing them down... and plug them into mini-days so you don't need to think about it in the morning
7. Have a proper morning routine instead of jumping right into the work. I brush my teeth, drink water, exercise, have a shower (including cold) and do breathing exercise (wimhof method) along with visualizing.
8. Focus on getting QUALITY sleep. Don't eat and block blue light at least 1,5h before going to bed.
9. Celebrate your wins (even the small one). We need to feel progress.
10. Turn off all notifications on your phone and computer. It's just a distraction and you don't want to be reactive. Instead, batch those similar activities like social media or checking email into one of your pomodoro (25 minutes) sessions and avoid checking it outside of this specific window.
11. Set deadlines, they always work. (ever finished something last minute because you simply had to?)
12. Make "not-to-do list" so you know exactly what activities are you committed to stop doing in order to be more productive.
Hope it helps guys. NEVER EVER GIVE UP on your dreams and work smart guys. You can achieve anything you want in our life. This IM thing can make all your dreams into reality.
