[Journey] GUESS how much will I earned by starting 20 different website? #experiment

Very interesting. I also like to try a lot of different things but from my experience focus really is most important. If you focus on one thing you definitely can make it work and become better and better at it while too many different things will reduce the quality of the outcome by a lot. Same like cooking ramen and making sushi simultaneously while washing dishes. ;)

But I guess this is more like testing water and seeing what will stick?

It is good to experiment, and we end up learning from them, although it will sometimes cost money and time.

From my personal experience, unless you have a clear head, a clear plan, and enough capital to fund your projects, it is unwise to start that many sites at once. You will get burnt.

I manage less than 5 websites now, and it much better than those days where I have up to 25+ micro websites, most of them make $0 per month and me spending $$$ to maintain them yearly.

But, I will watch this thread and see how you are progressing.
GL!

Amazing journey, it's good to experiment and learn. I tried 10 websites when i started 6 months back. But finally understood the actual truth and the learning opened multiple doors. I now run only 3 websites that I plan to nurture and take care

I cook stir fry udon, grilling gyoza and washing dishes at same time less than 10 minutes. No kidding! That is 3 different station in the kitchen! xD

Yeah, you got my point! Testing the water, with some potato starch, some salt, sugar and everything nice. I am looking for the recipe that works. (at least for myself).

Let's say if I able to manage to handle this, I will duplicate it and I might be able to offer managing IM website as service to those who don't have time but have money to invest? Aha!

I would say some of it I have solid plan (but of course, success is not guaranteed) and others are just purely "experiment".

Yes it is 20, but actually I create 1 or 2 first. Create the system and make it as automatic as possible with human and technology support, and only then I move to 3rd and so on...

I am curious, what kind of website are you on? Affiliate blogging or ... ?

Yeah, we are on the same path. This is exactly what I am looking for. Some people might say A is better than B. But that A is good for him and not me. So I am looking for something that I am happy with. :)

ALMOST ALL-ROUNDER

Recently, after months at grill & stir fry station, I was assigned to Deep-Fry station for the first time. Sounds easy, but to make a good fried chicken (karaage) needs some skills. I guess the only station I haven't really work at is the sushi bar. Once I am assigned at the sushi bar, my goals achieved by becoming the kitchen all-rounder at that restaurant.

Number 10: SAAS

Few days before I just was done setting up with my SAAS website. But what surprised me, I just knew that one of my colleagues is the influencer of the platform that my SAAS solving!

"Lucky bast*rd." Hell yeah~

So without wasting any moment, I straight make a deal with him if he can promote my SAAS website in return I'll give him a commission and free access to my SAAS tool.

and he said "yes". And he offered to make translation for my SAAS website.

Yeahhh "f*cking lucky bast*rd."

For this one, I need to set up a simple one squeeze page for the pilot tests and testing the market via paid ads and influencers.

Yet, this is just the beginning for this website, because I have more on my mind on this but for now, just make this as my minimum viable product.

Number 9: Job Board

Recently I bought service offered by @patadeperro at Fully automated Job Board, Sell Job Post And Adsense $300 Plus/Month Easy Passive Income . Exactly what I am looking for which I no need to worry about content creation and focus to tweak it on marketing and automation. Within this week, I am going to focus to make this as automated as possible and leave other websites as it is first.

p/s: @patadeperro please keep my domain remain private for now. :)

20 different sites sounds crazy to me. Why not 5 sites (max)?

Well, it seems you know what you're doing so goodluck. I will be following your journey.

Wow! I have 6 websites, and I find it hard to manage all.
Hopefully, I will have 10 - 20 in the future, but I can't imagine doing it without 3-6 people to help me out.
I will follow this journey. I am curious to see what happens :D

I WILL SERVE YOU

Although sometimes I am working at the frying station, I am still the MVP at grilling station but love stirs fry station. What the connection?
Fryer = New things
Grilling = Good at
Stir Fry = Love it

Sor recently I made an assessment of my project based on
1. Automation level
2. Difficulty to setup
3. Content Workload
4. Potential

Long story short, I choose my SAAS as my active hustle because I really love to connect people by using my platform, Jobs Boards as the best Automation+2nd most potential and News site as the super passive that I won't touch on it but still keeping it.

Number 10: SAAS

I found a niche and now recruiting them. (actually, they are volunteering)

So what I offer them is just commission-based. 2 of them and looking for 1 more candidate.

But who are they?

They are people around me. This is totally offline marketing!

Now the things that I need to decide is the pricing and how many percent should I give them a commission per user referred?

Yeah, this smell like affiliate marketing and it is. Or maybe MLM to make it more interesting?

I need wisdom from BHWer to share your thought on how many percent commission that is healthy to run SAAS in the long-term. Please share your thought.

Number 9: Job Board

My AdSense application got rejected! But I gonna reapply anyway.

These few days, a small automation system a currently being developed for better exposure on FB and few tweaks on the website itself. Yeah the website is hell heavy now, but I want to make it as automatic as possible and generate more income from the subscription.

Sorry, this time I will write it as short as possible because I need to continue those works.

Dam, managing these all at the same time must be very hard. But gotta respect the hustle.

Hi @risecakoplusplus also bought tye job board and contemplating when to apply my adsense account. May I ask if you applied for it right away which was the reason of reject? Like your post btw, very informative. Thanks!

Your journey is motivating. I hope you will share the URLs at the end of your journey.

Yes. I do burnt out for a day or two since then. But I'll keep going anyway. If others can do it, so do I. And of course you can do it too

Hi @risecakoplusplus also bought tye job board and contemplating when to apply my adsense account. May I ask if you applied for it right away which was the reason of reject? Like your post btw, very informative. Thanks!

I warmed up for few days/or a week. Only when it looks not so "scrapped" or "new" then I apply adsense.

Mine rejected due to my own mistake.
1. I did not put the code properly
2. During the development, sometimes my website are offline.

So google rejected my application with "Website offline" reason. I never expect it to be easy and straight way, so I will keep repair anything that's necessary.

As I say, I am developing something to derive traffic from facebook to the job board website. It's still in development and testing stage. If it's good, maybe I will share it someday. (Hiring freelance, I can't code. Even just to implement adsense code, I failed. Haha)

Your journey is motivating. I hope you will share the URLs at the end of your journey.

Yes sure I will. But not now. Too many sharkssssss around.

I will share it after I become Megalodon.

Hi OP,
