Posting comment and shadow deleted on youtube trick

This is something I noticed.
An online marketer talking about that now it is easier than ever to make money online.
I responded similarly to if you have the gift of convincing people then I can agree to that otherwise you'll be stuck for many years.

Now here is the trick.
The first response was about mentoring a client that became successful. The client didn't have a gift of convincing.
I couldn't respond to that because she removed the post moments after...
So instead a new post was posted:
Why do you believe that?

So I did a long response about competition and how I've seen YouTubers struggling and quitting and like it is very hard to
go that direction as a newbie unless you're really good at what you do, convincing people.

So I waited because I was curious about what she would say.
.....
No response......

Then I checked with another browser behind a proxy in an anonymous mode.
Well, my response was removed...
Shadow deleted.

So I got this AHA moment. This is how online marketers keep old members from complaining publically. They believe simply that
the youtuber didn't have a response to that. Because well the post is still there but unknowingly shadow deleted.

Question: Was it a douche move of me to post this publically for everyone to see?
Or: Is it a douche move of the online marketer to remove posts to keep the illusion running?

Maybe it is drama.
But I start to pay attention to what shadow ban really have as an effect. Is it a subtle indoctrination or just a way to battle spam.
Maybe both?
