Here's what you can do:
- Don't dropship supplements or anything food related bro. You're gonna get fucked real hard in the ass if something happens to a customer
- Same with electronics, avoid it
- If you import stuff from third party countries (China etc.) into EU area, you are automatically seen as "manufacturer" and therefore liable for any damage to your customers
- Research about insurances like product liability etc.
- Look for manufactures inside the EU and only dropship inside EU
- Get yourself a tax consultant. You will have to pay MOSS (Mini One Stop Shop) taxes inside the EU
All those "dropshipers" who claim to make big money on YouTube just want you to sign up to their Shopify affiliate program. That's their only stream of income.
And then there are "dropshipers" who don't care about product liability and taxes and stuff, but that's their problem if they get caught.
perfectly sums it up. I would also add that in Germany it is mandatory to have Impressum ? statement on the website? at least that is what our legal consutant advised. In the impressum to write the legal name and data of your company.
