Hey guys,

is here someone who is doing Dropshipping in Germany.

Can you tell me some points which I have to care?
Which products are good for Drop because of less refund policy etc.

I surfed at Aliexpress but still don't know what I could offer in Shopify or Woocommerce shops.

I found an Instagram account in my near, she is selling carpets but no Dropshipping. I found the same or similar carpets on Aliexpress for really good prices. One point which I don't understand is how can she pay the cargo costs for carpets. After adding these there is only a less marge I think.

Some other products which I reviewed was leggings for womens, supplements and home decoration products. Can you help me out which would be good to start?

Sorry for my bad english.

Pet products, Phone accessories, Fashion accessories, drones or electronics devices.

I would be careful with electronic products. You as the importer are responsible for the product especially for the ce certificate. It can be quite expensiv if you can't handle out the certificate if authorities ask for it.

But I can imagine that electronic products would be very profitable.

I think electronic is only applicable if you're shipping from and to within the same country. If not, it might be a nightmare to return and exchange.

For germany it could be best to also try event specific things. E.g. Oktoberfest stuff :)

Oktoberfest stuff is now the most stupids idea ... as corona make the party there.

electronics sucks, serios sucks.

Make something where you dont have sizes and no bs which can broke fast.

The most money in the german market i have made with METAL, serios METAL.

BUT it is very hard to get good shipping prices, times ect. at the moment.

what do you mean by METAL?

  1. Don't dropship supplements or anything food related bro. You're gonna get fucked real hard in the ass if something happens to a customer
  2. Same with electronics, avoid it
  3. If you import stuff from third party countries (China etc.) into EU area, you are automatically seen as "manufacturer" and therefore liable for any damage to your customers
Here's what you can do:
  1. Research about insurances like product liability etc.
  2. Look for manufactures inside the EU and only dropship inside EU
  3. Get yourself a tax consultant. You will have to pay MOSS (Mini One Stop Shop) taxes inside the EU

All those "dropshipers" who claim to make big money on YouTube just want you to sign up to their Shopify affiliate program. That's their only stream of income.
And then there are "dropshipers" who don't care about product liability and taxes and stuff, but that's their problem if they get caught.

Really some good info in this threads, already bookmarked.

Do product research and see what your competitors are doing, nobody is going to give you his 7-figure winning product :)

The one that will make you money. No, not trying to be funny.

Find a niche within a niche, within a niche.
