Hello guys, I m using firefox portable for multi-accounts with paid VPN extension enable. I got a new google account from a seller and before I do anything with it, I set my VPN IP to a random country and I blocked Webrtc. I checked the IP for any leaks and I was good to go.

But when I logged into my new google account, I saw my real location on the security checkup page. Am I missing something here?

Well the quality of the proxy determines if your location will show through or not. However things like flash can get around that and still display your real IP address. This is how you sniff real IP addresses on the TOR network..

Google surely has one of the best detectors for your Real IP Address. This is also what i have noticed with my gmail accounts.

Some of these replies on these threads make my head want to explode, if you can't provide good information say nothing at all, don't post to get your post quota or whatever you are trying to do. Reply if you have a real answers to peoples questions. 25 years been on the world wide web now, my first modem was a 9600 baud modem and bulletins boards google it bitches.
Now to your ? sir, most likely your vpn was not working or is shit I am using Chrome and using free extension Uvpn and changed it to Italy and you can see -

I showed my ip in Italy so your VPN extension is probably crap or not installed right or needs an update.
Good Luck

Thank you for your reply. I said that in my primary post that I checked those things. Also, I use nordvpn (it's not free) and I use their extension which automatically connects to the county I set for each of my firefox profiles. Even like this, I always check my IP before I use any google page.

No, it not impossible but I mean that coincidence. Let say this is not the case, is there is something else I have to do except those things I mention in my first post?

How did you check for leaks? how do you know there were no leaks?

I m confused now. From where I should disable geolocation and how is this related? Can you please provide more info?

Disable Geolocation in Mozilla Firefox
  1. Type about:config in the address bar of Firefox.
  2. Firefox will show you a warning “This will void your warranty”. Accept it.
  3. Search for geo.enabled in the search bar.
  4. Select that option and change its value from true to false.

While you might come off as too aggressive in this to some, not to me. I completely agree. Wish people would start replying just to leave a comment and actually try to give something useful to the next reader. It's sad, actually. I believe a once good community can turn into a bad one, thanks to these spammers who only care about being seen and their post count.
