Another tip I wish I knew when I started
Let your COMPETITORS do your homework for you
Find your competitors using semrush / alexa / similarsites / etc etc
Do an xml dump of their content via DOMAIN.COM/sitemap.xml
Check out their content
Which overlap with the topics you want to cover?
Use tools like semrush to see how those overlapping pages are doing in terms of traffic
Pick the topics that have decent levels of traffic
Cross reference with Google Keyword Planner tool and check for advertiser competition and CPC - if comp is high, that's good - this means people will pay for ads to reach your audience
Once you have your set of 30 topics (page urls)
Type in their titles into Google and look for RELATED QUESTION TOPICS - see below
Next, look at the bottom
Cover the ones that make sense in your REWRITE
I have a
journey thread here where I go through the RESEARCH, writing, and PROMOTION steps on a POST BY POST basis
If you want to get results, you must TREAT EACH POST like a HOUSE you're building - you don't just put up the walls, slap on a roof and move on to the next one.... You have to have a SYSTEM
The best part? The system's FREE. You just have to invest your time, FOCUS, and COMMITMENT
