My first day on Reddit

Hi guys, I finally tried Reddit ( I'm getting older, and trying new things is not getting easy at all )

I'm also a photographer so I created my profile posting some of my latest photoshoots. I'm trying some groups related to my camera ( sony alpha a7iii ) and some portrait groups

In the first 24hs, I get a karma of 270... but I really do not know if that amount for posting just 4 or 5 pictures it's good, excellent, regular, or poor

What's your experience?

Reddit has a real tough learning curve and unlike Facebook, redditors seem to be more sceptical and aggressive. But if you manage to get their attention, it can be a real big traffic source. My biggest account has 24k karma. So I think the amount of karma you got is a good start.

Sorry, totally forgot about that after hearing the word "pron".
It sure is a good start. Keep it up. Try with a few more accounts but don't make it look like that a single person is operating all those accounts. And when you have a few good Reddit accounts, try doing some CPA or adult or maybe something else.

270 is great! Only if something goes semi-viral depending on the community will you get a bunch of the upvotes.

So, yeah, do it, keep doing it, you will learn how to improve and what type of photos get more upvotes. Awesome!!!

its a start, nothing huge you can get thousands of karma points in a day with certain methods, but just keep going while you learn its a good start. some people struggle to get any karma

It's a good start. You can join many relevant subreddits and share your photoshoots.
