The .com are the popular ones as they add a level of credibility.

Same applies with .org and .net are fine to use as are a country TLD such as .co.uk or .es

About for seo or what?
Short and generic .com domains better.

What is your goal? Domain flipping? Building a site? Building and flipping?

As mentioned, .com is king in most situations. Next up: .org and .net.
Of course, if you are comparing business.tv to mylatestamazingphotos.com, that is a different story.

.com is the best. But others are fine aswell depending on uses.

I remember the days people even said a .info, lol

.com for sure.
If someone tells you: "just go and visit blackhatworld" you know that in address bar you should type blackhatworld.com!
Etc
Like Apple, Amazon and many others.

Most people still call websites as .com, as these both terms are synonyms in popular culture. It may take another 10-15 years for other TLDs to reach the same status.

.com is the best overall. However, if it’s affiliate marketing that u want to do via a website then it is a good idea to have a country specific extension in accordance with the target audience / prospects.

.com for global and local .tld for local business. Afterwards .org, .net and whatever.

Technically they're all the same.

I don't think TLD automatically makes a difference.

You will get more links naturally to .org or .com tho IME

.com is your obvious choice for credibility, make sure it's reasonably short and easy to remember though. If all your .com domain suggestions are already occupied, take any other TLD, it won't have a huge impact on your SEO.
