I feel bad when an active member gets banned

I think the Mods are way to lenient with some people.
I was going to write something about rights v privaliges, and how some people mistake one for the other, but I think it would be a waste of time.
TheVigilante was a good person I think but I saw it coming

your account is from feb 2019 and he was banned a couple months later. he was here long before and also contributed a lot to the forum even if it was just for a giggle for the rest of us.
when people asked stupid stuff he often had some funny replies which i enjoyed. people shouldn't take everything so serious or be super P.C....
never saw him beg for mod status, but ok if he really did that whatever thats stupid, but still probably not the reason why he got banned.
 
most people get warnings b4 they get banned - no sympathy
from me if they dont listen, let alone let them back because
you miss them. still no sympathy .

They got ban for a valid reason. BHW got some rules, you know its big big forum.

Yes, we do. It's called after 18 warnings and last chance warnings, staff had had enough of his BS.

If people are too stupid to learn and appreciate being given one last chance, more fool them.


Depends on your definition of ' nice guys' too I guess.

I have no doubt that banned members will create or have already created new profiles to get back to bhw.
 
Also thought about it. People spend their time on the forum, develop it, and then ban. Perhaps this forum is the only one where I have seen so many banned users. The feeling is that banning is everyone.
 
I miss lov3 problem spammer. any chance of bringing him back?
 
I don't get it. Those people were breaking rules thinking they will be untouched... Why will I be sad for them?
Just respect the rules and everything will be good.

I am sure mods @MisterF can easily pick up the bad intent from a member.

Can you share what are the silly or unintentional things that a member does which gets them a warning/infraction.

Not specific to any member but as a general question...
