Really feel bad when an active member gets banned here. I mean he is contributing a lot to the forum and suddenly gets banned. I know rules are to be followed but just expressing my feelings here.

A member few days ago I forgot his full username like @meeracat... got banned. He was close to celebrating his 1000 post but he got banned before that.. Not sure what he did wrong as BHW does not usually display the reason for ban

Another member who joined 3 months ago @aman khattar but was very active also got banned.

Both were junior Vip's but sadly got banned.

I wish there is a way to give them a chance to come back to the forum. After all, everyone do mistakes and I am sure, if given a chance again, they won't repeat it. I know they are given many infractions before they get banned but still, a Final chance maybe.

@Diamond Damien I would like you to consider this option, if possible.

do you know why or for howlong he's banned before asking to reconsider it?

The warnings and infractions should be treated as final chances. Keep breaking rules, and at any point it may be the last time. Not all bans are permanent, though. So that could also be considered a final chance. Point is: people don't really just get banned out of nowhere.

The mods around here seem to have a head on their shoulders if they've been banned it's likely warranted and buying Jr VIP or being active doesn't change that.

If you knew why they got banned you would think that was very ironic.

I wish I could know it. If you can add the cause of ban next to his profile, that would be very helpful. Please consider this option. I saw the reason mentioning in one case @shreb where it's clearly written he got banned due to Mod abuse but he was just an exception. It should be made a norm with all banned members.

I personally do not think it should be public information as the relationship is with the banned member and the forum. They violated the contract they made with the forum and it was a private contract and thus their dirty laundry should not be made public.

I nearly 2 hours active here, i saw a lot of posts for Aman Khattar, he has answers on some of my threads, I feel sad that he left but...

But this kind of forums are sensitive, scammers are more than legit people..
even some of the unbanned people are scammers but in a legal way,
for example, someone who sells leads would send you a fake leads and when you dont convert he tells u that your funnel is bad and so forth.
Everybody should read the rules and be safe than sorry.

Thanks to all mods who spend their time to keep us safe.

Trust me mate, when someone, new-old-very old-very reputable member gets banned, there is a very very deep/good reason for it.

Never question this.... there is no mistake, and try not to be that soft.

I know they are given many infractions before they get banned but still, a Final chance maybe.

By the way, how you know this? You had a close relationship with both of them? (Just curiosity)

I feel sorry for users who get banned also... I see plenty banned when searching for tips and tricks to game the system to make a quick buck or all the while while trying to avoid paying my advertising fees. Yup level of morality on this thread and forum is amazing.

I guess it comes down to

Don't crap where you eat.

Been there mate. I used to ping BTB all the time on skype, asking why xyz got banned.

Well, I've seen the other side (where moderators hangout) recently. From what I've seen so far, mods try as much as possible to keep the active members active (it is good for the forum).

If an active member is banned, 100% of the time, there is a very good reason behind it.

Sometimes yeah seeing people like Sherb get banned is sad, simply because he contributed so much to the forum & I've learnt so much from him.
RIP Sherb
It just goes to show it doesn't matter how long or how much you've contributed to the forum if you break the rules you're out.

Main thing is they do not get banned directly. they usually get warnings, example i put a post which almost looked like i was selling outside the market place. the mods had every right to add a warning to my profile & i do not repeat such posts again & the good thing is the warnings expire after few months so if a person is actually willing to follow the rules he will not get banned.
they must have got such warning too & just kept repeating, i guess after 3 warnings you get banned.

i think the bans too have a expiry timing.

Yeah, Aman Khattar is a friend. I did good relationship with him outside blackhatworld.
Im agree with you, everyone make misstakes, but the punishment is neccesary.
At least temporary.

I believe in second chances :)

PS: Thanks to all the mods for wanting the best for the forum. I know you all do the things for a reason.
