I felt that he might be an employee in IG or got some close friends working on the IG verification team as we used to have FB accounts verified previously through some sources

iam pretty curious, let's say someone is really famous(500k-1m and showing on youtube and in media etc.) but not applying to the blue badge, do they get it anyways just because instagram decides by their own? Or do you always have to verify on your own?

T0mmy has a service here on the BH marketplace and he's reputable. There's also another marketplace I'm on that has a couple of sellers selling this service (it's legit with verified ID's, escrow, reputable accounts) but it costs about $3-$4K and they will only take you on if the press is there. They can also provide the press but of course it costs extra $.

Basically if you are starting from nothing you have to be prepared to spend several thousand.
