I didn't get anything done on Saturday cus I basically took a break and slept the entire day. Then binge watched anime. Today I uploaded 40 designs on Teepublic. 2000 listings on Teepublic now. Nothing on Redbubble.
One of the Amazon reviews that I purchased from BHW got posted into my Merch dashboard.
It's been a slow day. Sometimes I want to give up but this journey thread kinda keeps me going to do the bare minimum needed.
Good luck!
I have a question. I've been trying to sell on MBA for months. Do you have any tips for generating traffic?
Thank you!
Ok, here are my tips based on my experience. Success on MBA will depend on two factors: paid traffic vs organic traffic. You're either bringing in your own traffic to the listings or you're relying on the platform's traffic. If you're doing paid traffic then I'd suggest doing it elsewhere where it's more profitable. Like teespring.
If you're relying on the platform's organic traffic then you basically have three routes.
1. Make your own original designs and hope it goes viral
2. Target competitive niches that have been proven to sell
3. Target low competitive niches that doesn't sell a lot
I'll explain each option.
1. So you either make your own design that's unique/creative. There's no competition because it originates from you. You gain attention for your design by bringing in your own traffic. You can get ideas for this from social media browsing, your own experience, and trends.
2. These are niches where we know the shirts sell a lot. The problem is that everyone else knows too. So they're targeting it as well. The problem is that the algorithm favors listings that have gotten a lot of reviews and sales. So in order to be at a competitive level you have to do the same. Which means bringing your own traffic and/or buying up your own shirts in order to get higher in the algorithm. Some people use the paid advertising option that Amazon has in order to do this.
3. This is basically "long tail" keywords of Amazon and what I'm primarily doing. You target keywords with little to no listings and gets little sales per month. (like 3 or 4 a month.) You'll make a little bit of money but at least when someone searches for the keyword they'll find your listing. You can either be a little fish in an ocean or a big fish that dominates the pond.
Pick your strategy and run with it. Hopefully my tips have helped you out.
