People keep scamming me on Stripe

So guys I need your help, I've connected Stripe to my SMM Panel & everything went smooth until couple days ago when a guy started using probably carded cards to top up his balance, I was on a vacation and my support team didn't notice that something is not as usual and when I returned I spotted a lot of disputes which lead me to disable stripe as a payment method.

How do you fight this?

For starters block his IP address from accessing your site, assuming he's not using a VPN or proxy.

Stripe is against SMM panels. It is on their list of prohibited businesses. Meanwhile look into an alternative payment processor.

I handle this problem. The problem is fraud...

I he can pass Stripe he can bypass almost every payment proccesor, your only options is to disable stripe payments

He did already. In the end none really accept SMM so nothing you can do to complain in the end as you did not follow TOS. Never looked into it but maybe some high risk merchant account (but wonder if their fraud prevention is any good)

Make min requirements before giving them access to Stripe, that's the best way you can go if you want to keep it.

Other option is for you to make your own payment processor that it using stripe API, so you do all the fraud checks out there before validating the payment on Stripe, but this is to a point where it sound so sarcastic and i dont think that you want to get that much involved

@SpawneR - Everyone can scam you as you offer shady services (no offence), you must deal with it or move it to something like crypto or gift cards. I am amazed at how Stripe still lets you do your services, beware they will ban you soon.

There are a few ways around it, you can disable CC as a payment method for new accounts, or you could only allow CC after the first successful transaction using an alternate payment method. You can limit the number of orders via CC for new accounts and place a cap like $30 max etc. You could also start asking a scanned copy of the CC or ID for verification.

depending on your processing volume, you can contract with anti-fraud solutions. They will be able to detect if the fraudster is really using stolen cc

Will prevent most of these problems. Most scammers dont wanna jump through hoops.

The payment processor should be able to apply "Visa verified" or "Mastercard secure" for high risk orders. You might be able to add these settings in your payment processor control panel as well.
With these applied the credit cards fraud shrink to almost nothing.

Stripe have some of the best anti fraud tools available, go visit their doc center and read up on rules

And to OP, why don't you block his IP and use a payment processor which accepts your business model ?

Thats what made me stop using stripe. Had a guy purchase digital goods and charge me back.

i tried to register to like 10 gateway last week like 2checkout, hipay ... all don't accept my website.
I didn't put my SMM website, just another one with landing page and SEO service. And all reject.
How can you sell Web marketing service nowadays ? I mean to find a payment gateway that fit

I want a solution as well. got rejected in 14 gateway payments and I don't see any alternative to Stripe. Anyome found any alternative to receive credit card payments besides Stripe?
