I don't understand the logic behind other stuff except for this point.

+2 to this. Increase the membership fee to $250, and make it invitation only. That will only increase the quality of the forum, if anything (plus it will prevent quora like threads for showing off signature). We could still have the premium membership like we already have (but, no signature allowed for this type). Plus, if anyone else wants to sell; they have to buy the marketplace seller sub.

IF you really wanted to the invite only thing.. it should run like a torrent site so the person you give an invite to has an effect on your rep as well. So as well as the increased price if they get a ban you get a warning 2 invites with a ban = you're gone. Would clean the place up and make it more unique.
Maybe something for BHW 3.0 and call it SNR VIP
Might in turn clean up the SL section as well..

To be fair, the SL subforum has been pretty clean for a bit.
Granted there are some live ones in play that disappoint us all but I think the checks and balances are in the 85 - 90% range as to keeping people from getting ripped off and I see that subforum from a Mod view which includes all the threads and post others do not see.
But, as to the 3 month or some other short term Jr Vip that takes away from those that have committed and if you are not going to commit I question your commitment (yeah, redundant).
Either put your big boy pants on if you want that access/permissions or stand on the sidelines and wear out the bench like 3rd string quarterback holding a clipboard.

Jr. VIP is already setup so that you can earn your money back with relatively little effort. What more could you want for what you get ?
It’s one thing if it’s overly difficult to recoup what you spend but that’s not the case with the yearly option. Just renting out your sig recoups your money in no time at all.
The yearly membership makes sense without risk of short timers grabbing the benefits at basement level pricing.
The price point is fair for what you get and the benefits associated with it as well.

I wasn't having a dig. I just meant if the process added that element of responsibility to those you invite to JR VIP (although you can't guarantee everyone) it would free up Mods time to do something else rather than acting as an intermediary. That's all, was just referring to it as an "option" based off the previous comment.
