I know most people want to wait for results to show up to compare the changes. Let's look into the update to know what they are going to improve, so that we can prepare for the changes.
- The current algorithm compares two web pages on SERPs to know which among them has the better chances of ranking and gives PA accordingly. The new algorithm compares results from totally different SERPs.
- The new algo re-runs the PA again and again into algorithm to identify high PA pages that are not ranking and low PA pages that are ranking. So, that the factors like manual penalties, redirect/spammy links etc. can be addressed.
- Generally, such updates maintain continuity so that the changes are not vast. But this time, they are giving up continuity and aligning towards accuracy. So, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
- PA will constantly evolve to match SERPs, mainly focusing on Google. So, if your site ranks well on Google but has low PA, then your PA could improve after the update, and vice-versa.
