Advices needed on huge mistakes done

It's not that I'm too busy, but more on the fact that I have an urge to make money, it's as if I associate easier IM with money while I associates study with hustle, degree not really money directly like with IM in my brain(Is it laziness? something else?). I agree with you that most of companies recruit someone with a degree yes..

Lazy to study, cs degrees are pretty useful on IM.

At the end of the day just do whatever u want and feel right to do. Good luck.

I everytime reverse my priority to focus on IM rather than study, how to beat the urge to go doing IM and postponing studies?







I tried to focus and do IM aside those last years and that's what lead me to redoing 3 years in university, I keep postponing studies and focusing on IM I don't know why.. I would like to focus mainly on studies and doing IM as side hustle, but I everytime reverse priority by priorizing IM over studies, postponing studies until it's too late. How do I manage the urge to make money online and keep my schedule? I think it's more of a instant gratification issue or something I don't know

I was in your footsteps before, almost close to drop out but the thing is I didn't had anything to fall back on (safety net), most of those dropouts/deferrer students has wealthy/well off parents. If you don't have family wealth then accept the hand that you deal with and start playing the game!


Then before I graduate 1 year ahead I got a job offer in top firm in the industry condition to I finish university. Worked for them for 3 years + and save quite a lot of money and came up and start doing my own business. Turns out working for someone was the best thing! I learned so much business equities that I had started my own business without my work experience I wouldn't have make it!

So long story short, don't always go for short cut, go for the journey that will lead you to your goal at the end of the day which is for me I wanna retire on late 30s.

This is true. IM can make you the quick buck. The quick buck will always be there for you and tempt you to put your time and energy for that easy quick buck. But anything that will last takes a lot of time to build. So you can either keep spending all your time being distracted by the easy money of making a quick buck (but it's only a "buck" meaning small money) and spend the rest of your time going after a quick buck, or take 1 step back in order to take 2 steps forward. Investing in studies for long-term future gain always requires you to take 1 step back (sacrificing a lot of things for future gain).

If you are young, then you have time and you can play this "young man's game". Make the wise investment.

People often think the key to success in life is "balance", but no, what is more important than balance is, "obedience".

Without self-discipline, you will lack willpower and personal power.

Were you going to do IM instead of study when you thought about dropping out? The thing with me, is that I don't think of dropping out and I did register every year to this online university but I don't send the work, I do it only to feel safe or idk, then I go doing IM instead and continue postponing studies to the end of the year when it's too late

I think you're right somehow but how to stay focused and not falling in the temptation for the I don't know how many times now? I feel that I can easly fall in the trap again, try to make money then regret it. How to break this cycle? Every year I registered to feel good, to feel that I have a "backup plan/safety" then after this action, I dedicate myself to IM and almost forgot about studying, keep postponing it to the end
