@wengthemeng what's your thought about this: As a small top 10s channel (<100 subs, 28 vids) I posted a youtube video (8:51) in a relevant subreddit and it gained views just from there, after 3 hours on the dashboard I can see 26 total views, Impressions click-through rate 0%, AVD 2:51. So basically, with 0% CTR, the algo won't even try to recommend my content, right? So is it worth promoting outside of youtube, or do you have a better way of doing this (like maybe post a community post on other channel and promote that on the subreddit) ?

I would 100% spend my efforts in promoting my videos via community board posts!

My plan is to start first with white animation videos as I don't have budget for outsource a compilation channel for months,then move the budget earned in compilation/top 10 videos outsourcing everything

1) The thing with youtube in other languages is that from what I've heard- CPMs are drastically lower; so if you can, keep it english if possible!
2) I would 100% recommend buying a monetized channel because it saves you from having to worry about making money if your first video were to go viral but your channel isn't monetized- that's a huge loss.

This update is gonna cover August.

The Goals:
[x] Monetization enabled// Goal achieved by partnering with an individual.
[x] $100 per month // Goal achieved 2/15/20
[x] $1,000 per month// Goal achieved 2/23/20
[x] $10,000 per month// GOAL ACHIEVED!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! 8/1/20
[] $30,000 per month
[/] Cover my parents' rent. Covering 1/2 for now which is a start
[] Buy my brother a new iPad. Planning to buy this in November 2020


There's a huge rehaul regarding what channels I'm working on. I'm going to focus more on growing a handful of channels rather than spreading myself too thin.

Channel 1 (niche= WatchMojo); Earnings= $16,700

• This is so systemized, it's 90% complete passive. All i do is research and upload now. My money maker hands down.
• Currently making anywhere from $400-$1200/ day still.

Channel 2 (niche= sports); Earnings= $1,080

• This is systemized, 90% passive.
• Currently making anywhere form $20-$40/ day.

Channel 3 (niche= celebrities); Earnings= $400

• So the very FIRST video I posted on this channel is currently going viral which has NEVER happened to me before.
• I really am using the tactics that I teach in my YouTube channel and it 100% works. It's crazy how well I can know YouTube more than others just by using the actual platform.
• Currently making about $30-$40/ day. It's already doing better than my sports channel haha.

Channel 4 (niche= celebrities/ movies)

• This channel will be launching in September

Channel 5 (niche= technology/ movies/ anime)

• 10 videos posted; no traction yet.

Channel 6 (niche= animated stories)

• 5 videos posted; no traction yet.

Total Revenue for August 2020: ~$18,000

Yeah so with people who do this model of youtube, they start with monetized channels so that they don't have to waste X months getting the channel monetized.

And yes the return is vast if done correctly lol.

For someone with a budget constraint though; I would 100% make these videos yourself; it's how I did!

But yes, i have my video editors use 13 seconds or less of a clip and I add voiceover. I also make sure to have them NEVER use copyrighted audio since that gets picked up instantly.

So I like to think of youtube as a 7 stage process:
1) research
2) script
3) voiceover
4) video edit
5) Thumbnail
6) SEO
7) upload

At some point, I WAS doing all 7 of these myself.

Now I only do 2-3/7 of these which is the research, thumbnail, and uploading.

I made sure to know EXACTLY what i was doing before hiring someone out for the task.

Best of luck to you man! I've never found YT CPA Adsense to be long term. This model of youtube can withstand the tests of time as long as you play by youtube's rules.
