If you guys aren't receiving at least 50 hits or more to each article weekly you need to re-evaluate what you are doing to promote your articles because there's some simple things that can get you page views really easy. Some you don't even have to maintain daily. More like once a week to keep them pouring in the page views. I would explain a few things I do but it's been covered multiple times in this thread by me, RedTide, & others.
I want to encourage people to go ahead and read this thread all the way through. I've had articles that I never even promoted EVER anywhere get 400 hits in a week just due to the title and proper SEO practices in my writing. It wasn't even a popular or sought after product. It was seriously a review on a set of Studio Monitors (Of a specific brand, they are midrange monitors) for Mixing. Mastering, & Recording music. Not something that's searched for a lot at all in my opinion. But this article just pulled organic page views like crazy all day long from the way it was written & the title.
@ Mariopits - I don't think all of the misc. people that have posted up about page views in this and the other threads here in the AC subforum are ALL bs'ing about drawing an average of 200-400 page views a week. You're new at this, so it goes without saying that you have some things to learn.
You said that NOTHING has been covered other than Twitter, well are you social bookmarking your articles and/or your content producers page? Are you adding other AC writers as "favories" or becoming thier "fans"? Both of these things indeed HAVE been covered already and do indeed pull in more page views. There are more ways than I can count to promote your articles, for instance, anything that you would use for online promotion for things like affilaite marketing, CPA etc can be used for this purpose.
It sounds like you're over analyzing the whole page view/SEO aspect. You'll always have articles that perform like crap and others that do great, it's the way it goes with AC and anything in IM.
@ prasentjit1857 - I did, but only have so much time in the day to get to backlogged PM's.
Exactly, time is money, SO.. I'm not going to spend too much of MY TIME with someone who comes asking for help while calling BS to people that have way more than 29 articles worth of experience with building AC page views. That's definitely not the right approach in my book.
Because time is money, I''l keep this brief and just use Shawndellah as a quick example. I've been to her AC profile page and know for a fact that she has well over a million views on one of her accounts. Even before I viewed her profile I would have never "called BS" on those numbers or disrespected her by calling BS on how many views she tells me she's pulling a day.
That's not how you ask for, or GET help from people.
@ tchashow - Exactly, I had just explained the YA method to Anthraxx in a post the other day in here, but I guess that one went unoticed by mario because "all anyone has spoon fed in the thread is Twitter"
Anyway, thanks tchashow
