Do I have Corona? Please read

You probably got the virus but don't be scared. Fear effects your immune system. Just call a doctor and get tested, you're gonna be fine

Sometimes being run down or stressed, or even hayfever can cause you to feel like this. Definitely consult a medical professional, and you should be fine soon enough.

So guys I tested negative for covid19, but I don't know why I lost sense of smell and taste I don't think it have happened to me before this bad

Yeah, better visit a doctor, go for self quarantine, and if anything goes lil discomfortable then plz concern to the doctor. Loss of smell and taste is the most common symptom of COVID 19 in present days. Stay safe and healthy

Did you take the PCR test or the antibody test? Take another test may be. Don't be so sure, PCR test isn't 100% accurate. Antibody test is even worse. Not trying to scare you though. Just don't be complacent. Take care of yourself.

Thanks and yes I took the pcr test and the report came in around 30 minutes

Hey how long are they suppose to take because I got my report 30 minutes after PCR test
Over here it takes around 3-4 days AFAIK. I think there's some alternative testing method that much faster, but the cost is also significantly higher.

Wow then it was really quick

If your wife’s a shitty cook it could be your body defending itself. Hell it could be a super power if she’s really bad!

Yeah, that's right. The test itself probably takes much lesser time, but the amount of backlog vs number of pcr machines makes it that long over here.

If you took the test yourself there may be a possibility you did not do it correctly. I think I had the same problem. The stick has to go so far into your nose it's uncomfortable and likely impossible to do yourself with full accuracy. The fact that you are still somewhat ok should mean you have little to worry about. I don't want to sound complacent but if you drink water regularly and continue to each healthily you should recover eventually. Sometimes these symptoms linger for a while but eventually you'll overcome it without stress.

Thanks so much for the tip, will surely drink much water now, and test wasn't uncomfortable at all.. guess it was not done correctly, I was sick a week ago and recovered and I m feeling 100% ok
Drinking herbal tea daily and recommending to anyone who has same symptoms .. it's really strong

So I m the guy who didn't even go outside when there was no pandemic( introvert ) so you can imagine how much would I have went outing during the pandemic,

I Got sick badly( usually happens every year in August ) like a week ago and took me like 3 days to recover and i m felling fully fine today, but I have been noticing I lost smell and taste from 3 days slowly slowly and today it's very much I can't even smell strong fragrance, the only thing I can taste is Sweetness like biscuits, jaggery and stuff, I do wanna point out I have a bit cold and people have visited my home in past days so idk if they had corona

But I don't think if I ever lost sell and taste
Should I go for a checkup?

Give it a couple of days. If you get worse, call the doc, or call anyway, you wont contaminate anyone over the phone, as long as it's a 4G phone.

I had some kind of weird sickness this summer as well. Never had those kind of symptoms before. Thought it was the beer-flu. Nauseous, lethargic and no appetite (because of no taste). No fever, runny nose or cough. Was back to normal after a week.

I hadn't left my desk in weeks. I get my great great grandma to do the shopping and house tasks, so I have no idea where I picked it up. Must have been that 109 year old hag that didn't disinfect my beer cans properly after dragging them 5 miles from the shop.

It's probably just your body acclimatizing to the high frequencies of FYEEVH-GEE.

No, seriously, I doesn't hurt to call your doc. How often do you lose your sense of taste?socialdistance.jpeg
