Ehy man few questions:
1)If i add my commentary voice on clips,do i still have to follow the 13 seconds rule(not putting videos from other people for more than 13 seconds straight) ?I am creating videos about curiosity/compilation and i want to know if i can literally download a video and put my voice on it and get away with it

2)what is the process in order to be safe when buying a monetized account?I want youtube to be a long term business for me, i don t know how the all thingget set up from the monetization approval to the creation of adsense account

i have a motivational youtube channel, just wondering is it possible to monetize with adsense if i use famous speakers' speech , all the footages are mine.

hi my Adsense account got closed because of Admob (not related to YouTube).
Can I monetize my channel with new Adsense?
any advise? thank you so much.

Can I upload cover songs sing by myself? Can I monetize them? Also how long until youtube accept monetization once i request.

Thanks

It should be within 48 hours for the monetization request.

It honestly depends on the copyright owner of the song and whether YT picks it up as a copyrighted song and whether or not the copyright owner will allow you to monetize it.

How to rank new gaming YT channel? I am using vidiq for keywords but when i search my videos i cant find them on yt

Heya, so I made a video regarding how to start a gaming YT channel;I'll PM you it.

1. Yes you should still follow the 13 second rule as you call it. I would even go shorter if possible. #1 thing to do though is to avoid copyrighted audio. That gets picked up easily.
2. When someone buys a monetized channel from me, here are the new updated instructions I have them follow:

"
*Important: Please don't change info immediately, you may receive a security block!
Adsense change: Add phone no. and wait for 7 days before changing!
Especially Google AdSense: Add phone number and change AdSense after a week only if necessary!"

technically you're not supposed to be able to monetize other figures' voices but sometimes people get away with it. YouTube has a hard time keeping track of every single video to be taking down monetization from speech/ motivational videos.

You would have to start a new channel at this point or get another monetized channel.

Its still possible get monetization by google adsense for kids channel? Because some people say no some people say yes but you get low cpc so how exactly ? If you can what about CPC we talk for kids channel?

Average CTR is 13%. Watch time is 4:11.

1. To go viral I aim above 15% and 50% watch time but of course this isnt always guaranteed.

2) I think tags can fit into both the reasons you listed: for SEO and for what people might like related to your video.

3) No MCNs. MCNs got hit by a restriction this past january.

4) 0% paid 100% FREE organic traffic, likes, comments views and subs. EXCEPT during the initial stages when I try and get the channel monetized.

5) So for my scripts, im not sure i understand your question in this one. My scripts usually range from 1k words to 2k words depending on the niche. Video is always greater than 10 mins long tho.

6) As long as the amount of dislikes isn't greater than 50% than you should be fine. Engagement is engagement. if it does exceed 50% than I would consider buying likes at this point but only if the channel is viral.

7) I've had success with monetizing a channel with unique audio and using other people's clips. This falls under fair use act where i technically fall under adding educational and meaningful value to copyrighted clips.

8) I stay away from anything along these lines. I just go for themes that are evergreen and popular!

You should still be able to get monetized. SPAM commenting isn't necessarily something to get in trouble for unless you really are SPAM commenting meaningless comments but i assume you wouldnt be.

So I actually dont follow any parameters when it comes to research- at least not to an extent. I go for HIGHLY competitive videos i.e. What Dwayne Johnson spends his billions on. Tons of videos on that, i would make one and the goal is to try and appear int he suggested of popular videos. This is how a video sometimes goes viral.

I've seen parameters such as less than 100k videos in search pool, greater than 1000 monthly searches, etc.--- i think that's all BS. I mean could it work? Yes. But does it work for the model of running viral videos? Probably not.

Even if I were to start my own vlog channel, I would make videos on videos that have already been proven to work. That's pretty key when it comes to researching videos.
- High number of views in the past= chance of having high number of views again
- Evergreen
- Recency post is within the past 6 month

If I see a video posted 1 month ago hit 6 million views titled How to Grow on Instagram. oBviously there's a million other videos on how to grow on instagram. But will i make a video on how to grow on instagram? I sure will. The idea is to model the recent viral video though- similar title, similar tags, similar description, and make it better of course.

I do use Tubebuddy and VidIQ though because they are very useful tools when it comes to how I do research. I DONT use their SEO ranking systems or their competitive radar. And I actually am partnered with both of them. If you want 20%-30% discounts from them, just message me!:)

Hey thanks for your thread. Very helpful read!

As for this:

How do you actually get into suggested? Like how do I do the same? I might get some suggested views here and there, but not too many really....

I have 195 subs and 2000 hours watch time. I know a method of gettig views in YouTube without subscribers. I get 2000 views per day with just 195 subs with 26 videos. I figured at current rate of growth, my channel will reach 4000 hours watch time in 2 months. But issue is with subs I will take 2 years for 1000 subs at current rate. Should I buy subs from smm panel? Will it cause issues to my channel in manual review?

Thank you for providing a plaice to get answers!

My first would be:
what the AMA stands for?

Second:
What’s a proper/best way of creating gmail and yt accounts? For future channels and fake accounts (need those in order to give myself few dozens likes/comments here and there)
Dedicated VM + cheap proxy from target country would be enough? Or is it necessary to use new sim card for every account?

Third:
Is ti necessary to season those fake yt accounts via regular activities on youtube? (Watching videos, emitting user behavior). does it really make a difference in practice?

Thanks :)

I'm looking to add views form my YT videos can anyone help here

Hi I got a question!
I do daily live streams and getting thousands of views a day. I use royalty free music (even from the YouTube library), PG language, My own thumbnail and following all the guidelines.
BUT I still always get the yellow limited sign and I don't earn anything!!
How do I fix this? I messaged YouTube support but they just keep sending this "guidelines" page as if they didn't even read what I said.
Any answer would be very very appreciated, thank you!

Do you recommend me have a bunch of channels in the same gmail account even if they are not in the same niche?

I was searching for a tutorial on a particular ad network last year. I reached over and couldn't find it, so I recorded a screen cast tutorial and created a new channel and uploaded the video.

I dumped the channel since last year. Now When i checked the video has gotten 1k views and 5 likes.
So now am planning to create similar videos and keep uploading it to grow the channel.

The channel is a personal brand channel and am thinking of focusing on the particular sub niche which is in the CPA Niche.
I did keyword research with VidIQ and found good target keywords.
My question is that do you think I should broaden my topics or focus on that sub niche and expand later?

And do you think it is possible to record screen cast tutorial videos and add voiceovers (using text to speech software by IBM)? If yes do you think that is a good idea?

Thanks

Hi, first of all thank you very much for taking the time to answer our questions.

I have a few questions myself, if you can answer them it would be great.

1) After reading all your answers I noticed that several times you mentioned the importance of not depending 100% on YouTube (like with Amazon). So I was wondering what are your different solutions to this problem? Or in other words, what were your other methods to generate money apart from ads?

2) If I understood correctly, you manage several channels so I was wondering what were your daily tasks? I guess you manage your teams but are you also the one who looks for the subjects of the next videos, is it you who does all the descriptions and the SEO of the videos?

3) And last question (which I could have included in the second one), is it you who takes care of the thumbnails or for example you just come with the video topic/title and your designer takes care of everything else? Do you still give him your ideas so he can follow them?

Again, thank you very much, your answers so far have helped me a lot and probably saved me months of research and problems.

if you start a youtube channel today, what niche is easier to get views
