Do You Want to Build a Real Authority Site?

Phenomenal post, and a meta demonstration exemplifying its premise: built to stand the test of time.

Getting the low comp. Kws and mentioning them smartly in an article is recommended. Also, it is advised to keep the main kw in title and H2 heading of the article.

LSI, low competition kws are mentioned as synonyms or descriptively of the main kw.

What else can be done to get the easy kws on top first?

You have been writing some golden gems lately Chief!

What's your favorite method to uncover those long tails? Your post has given me some ideas and motivation.

Thanks a lot!

Great tip. Sounds like your friend had quite a life, makes me thing of a joke I know:
---

Sporbor was bragging to his friend Bass one day, “You know, I know everyone there is to know. Just name someone, anyone, and I know them.”

Tired of his boasting, his friend Bass called his bluff, “OK, Sporbor, how about Tom Cruise?”

“No dramas Bass, Tom and I are old friends, and I can prove it.” So Sporbor and Bass fly out to Hollywood and knock on Tom Cruise’s door, and Tom Cruise shouts,

“Sporbor! What’s happening? Great to see you! Come on in for a beer!”

Although impressed, Sporbor’s friend Bass is still skeptical. After they leave Cruise’s house, he tells Sporbor that he thinks him knowing Cruise was just lucky.

“No, no, just name anyone else,” Sporbor says.

“President Trump,” Bass quickly retorts.

“Yup,” Sporbor says, “Old buddies, let’s fly out to Washington,” and off they go.

At the White House, Trump spots Sporbor on the tour and motions him and Bass over, saying, “Sporbor, what a surprise, I was just on my way to a meeting, but you and your friend come on in and let’s have a beer first and catch up.”

Well, Bass is very shaken by now but still not totally convinced. After they leave the White House grounds, he expresses his doubts to Sporbor, who again implores him to name anyone else.

“Pope Francis,” Bass replies.

“Sure!” says Sporbor. “I’ve known the Pope for years.” So off they fly to Rome.

Sporbor and Bass are assembled with the masses at the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square when Sporbor says, “This will never work. I can’t catch the Pope’s eye among all these people. Tell you what, I know all the guards so let me just go upstairs and I’ll come out on the balcony with the Pope.” He disappears into the crowd headed towards the Vatican.

Sure enough, half an hour later Sporbor emerges with the Pope on the balcony, but by the time Sporbor returns, he finds that Bass has had a heart attack and is surrounded by paramedics.

Making his way to Bass’ side, Sporbor asks him, “What happened?”

Bass looks up and says, “It was the final straw… you and the Pope came out on to the balcony and the man next to me said, ‘Who is that on the balcony with Sporbor?’

Thanks for sharing. I'm building a lot of authority sites too. Wish to keep in touch to learn from you guys

Anyone have any good KW tools they recommend?

BTW, thanks for writing this up BTB.

Ahrefs and kwfinder should be a good combination but go with kwfinder and both of them are paid tools

Thanks. I'll look into KWfinder first. To achieve the # of keywords desired as described in the OP, would both be necessary?

I use Moz and Ahrefs... you'll end up with more KWs than you can eat in a year even after culling out the chaff.

Thanks. One last thing, how many of the 5k keywords are realistically expected to be used? I imagine one keyword per article? In another BHW post of yours you recommend 800-1200 words per article. If a person can sustain 1 per day then 365 per year. Enough keywords for 15 years +.

I imagine content risks becoming redundant after awhile and the followers that build up over time risk losing interest without more engaging content added as well. Or am I missing something?

Good info BTW. I do appreciate this post, the image SEO one, and the write up for your friend who has writers posting on his site.

Great post mate, I forgive you now for giving me a warning...

And are we suppose to write content focusing on 1 kw at a time or on multiple kw at a time using this strategy ?

Wow, it's such a great post. Very informative. Will this work if I'm building a site that will add link juice to my ecommerce store? I'm trying to start 5 real sites and post content weekly trying to rank for keywords, adding authority and boosting my ecommerce store.

This post really needs to resurface again for n00bs who missed this!

Thanks for the read Bass.

Awesome post! Thanks for sharing!
What about backlinks?
Should we build for these easy KW articles backlinks? how many and what types will be enough?
Thanks again!
