Volunteer Moderators Wanted

I get a finder's fee from them.

You can buy me off if you want though at a premium.
Hit me in the DMs. I'll make an offer you can't resist. Right now we got Ahi Tuna, Albacore, king crab, and California roll. We usually don't do this but we can give a premium cut of choice and if needed we can obtain fugu

we also got bass

If anyone wants to be good at bass tracking in boats, just remember, you can catch a bass on a piece of wood.

Just finished with my application.

I'm glad to see the forum growing, and would be honored to be a part of that growth.
I also think I can bring a unique mind- and skillset when it comes to repetitive tasks/automation/monitoring (as with Deleted member 923340)

I very much like the no-BST rule, which will ensure no conflict of interest.

Sent an application (although this account was created recently).

I create relevant open-source software for the community and have no biased interest in the marketplaces.

No disrespect but if you became mod I'd request my account closed

You were the first person that tried to call BS when I first became active as you thought I was trying to scam and seeing you being hostile with other members puts an offputting role imho that I would not want to see on the moderation team.

I second your opinion. I have seen him harassing new members many a times. Just because someone is posting quite a lot, does not mean he is spamming. If the post is relevant and add value to the discussion, then any member, whether old or new can post as many times as he/she would like to.

And yet he never got a warning for that despite people reporting his posts.

The Mods are mostly volunteers.

Oh! All these years, I thought Mods are paid heavily by Diamond. I would often think and guess about your salary as well as you devote so much time to moderate the forum. I was wrong!

Thanks for clearing it up.

I applied many times but no response even gave suggestions for improvements etc.. been here for 8 years. Die heart ❤ fan of BHW

Why would you get paid? They dont put you on a Mod role 24/7. You can act on reports, spam, moving threads etc but you can just keep scrolling the forum and do nothing.
Before i was mod on another forum, ppl were applying for MODS just for the god dem flex and hope that they will get paid, dont be this guy.

It does not indicate bias; we go by the rules and @proxygo
is quite helpful when it comes to dialing back spam here.

Because they are devoting lot of time, and have huge responsibility as well. Each mod is given different sub forum to moderator. It's not optional, they have to moderate each post, delete the posts that break the rules and so on.
