I understand that and I do also do like to report people that are obviously post boosting. It was just that at the time when you called me out I'd say around like late 2017 maybe early 18 we had some arguing about me lurking an then posting a lot in one day which I get. I don't try to start beef with anyone and I hope we can go neutrally and at some point positively

Can I close my sale threads and apply, or apply and if I get accepted to have my sale threads cancelled? Very interested, I feel like the forum needs more support especially during covid.

@blackwalker there you go, mods do not like new members who
drop say 50 posts on day 1 of joining bhw, it looks spammy, post inflating .
and they ban people for it. now back then, would you rather i tell
you, or a mod warn or ban you? ide say i did you a favor letting you no
dont you ? now your a vip and good luck
 
Honestly it's a very attractive position, it interest me a lot to help out the forum on a more personal level. I will await to see the no marketplace thread rule hopefully elaborated on, it's always good to have your options open, especially as a key benefit of being a Junior VIP as opposed to a premium member (looked really cool as well).

That rule is steadfast for new staff members as to a sales thread.

It is a good rule for the forum as to new staff members and the details after the fact will have to come from the forum owner.

There has been a lot of discussion via text and voice as to that rule and Damien has really thought that out with the counsel of a bunch of others.
 
I also applied as I wanted to help a community that has given me so much. Also, I realize that just by being a regular member, you can help out greatly by reporting spam and just helping out other members. I wish the best to all those that did apply.

Well yes, as you said we'll have to wait for his clarification. To be honest it felt like a gut punch when I saw the original PM asking to apply, no reason was mentioned at all :D
It would have been nice to have been part of that discussion, I know that you guys are very knowledgeable, and made that decision with a lot of thought, but obviously this affects any new mod who is also Junior VIP / Marketplace seller and wants to apply. It would have bee nice to have been apart of that discussion.

It was a staff discussion as to policy so not open to the general public.

If Damien thinks it appropriate he will share details as that is not something I share without violating the trust of others.

BTW, I'm not all that knowledgeable but the others are. I'm only here for the free Sushi.
