Yeah I've had some other fellow birdie ask the same question on this thread. Sometimes I wonder if you guys just ask this kind of question to inflate your ego. Just because it doesn't interest or affect you in any way doesn't mean it hasn't for many others on a visceral level.

Get over yourself. Nobody is claiming to be smart apart from yourself. Your on your little high horse spouting nonsense claiming everyone is acting superior if it doesn't agree with your bias mindset.

My view is that its a serious situation and people need to be responsible and act in a way that helps there fellow man by taking precautions and giving the situation the respect it deserves. I'm basing this opinion on facts and not falsehoods.

my brother got it, and we stay in same room, so i think i also got it. No symptoms nothing and he is fat as well. I can still run 5km in 25 minutes. This is 1 month back. I dont think it is dangerous.

We are here in BHW with all IM.... There is ALWAYS an angle.... There is something far, far worse than the mortality rate (which btw is simply impossible to assess at this time, don't know how you came up with that figure, but it's almost certainly orders of magnitudes higher than the flu) - being sick in its own is often a severe hit on your general health status.
Many people who have had it report long lasting damage and inexplicable unshakable fatigue that persists for months in a row.
The disease (often) gets you out of shape for months, possibly years. That's a huge burden on the entire society.

No I understand that, and agree with what you've said.

I think that in this situation (like everything else that also fits a dichotomic scenario) people are only seeing two camps to be a part of: either you think that COVID is causing a lot of deaths worldwide, or you think that things could be being manipulated for nefarious reasons.

But you can believe both things without the need for mutual exclusivity.

I can agree that there are a lot of people dying from COVID, and also simultaneously believe that there are things about the whole situation that are bizarre and seem to indicate that some kind of manipulation of the numbers and of peoples' emotions is occurring. Both are true.

I don't think anyone should be saying that manipulation of the numbers is impossible with a straight face, considering the proof that it is. Likewise anyone that says no one is dying from COVID is also delusional, with there being undeniable proof of that too.

I don't think people here have been saying COVID is fake (as in not killing people) though - but loads of people keep arguing that it's real... against no one who's disputing that.
