It's interesting that those who are calling people racist and claim to "not see colour", are the ones who are obsessed with race

Exactly, everything is stirred up with race nowadays. Why can’t we all just be equal

Answer is obvious: this is not about equality, people that are doing this don't care about fairness, what's right and wrong, who they screw over. It's about control and dominance through reprogramming people to think a different way, starting with teenagers, ready to join the adult world parroting the same slogans they're being bombarded with for years in media and school.

Yep that's right, and the reason for that is because the only people that would benefit are the 99%, not the 1%.

The people benefiting in 2020 are solely the 1% (more like the 0.0001%). This will permanently change to make up of society, for the worse. It's not just about this year, it's setting the scene for this decade to be a proper shitshow.

I have worked in commerce for many years and there lots of minorities in a far worse position than the black 'community'.
have seen discrimination almost exclusively against muslim staff and store owners or anyone with the typical 'south asia ' look that's pretty much synonymous with islam, with people on ebay asking if the store is owned or employs muslim staff or flat out refusing to shop due to this, anti-senitic vandalism and only recently Chinese.

On the other hand, the black community have had a black president, at any given time more than half of showbiz and entertainment millionaires and billionaires are black. How many other minorities can 'boast' of this? They're doing pretty well, comparatively speaking.
I am most concerned that certain people will start getting greater medical benefit than other's because of all this racist nonsense. Two kids are gravely ill and one gets priority or his daddy could afford treatment because of his 'proud black owned' business badge drawing in more business for him?? That should be a crime against humanity.

Can't wait until Jewish owned businesses are required to regist er on a database.

From what they claim, they say that there has been a surge in the number of people looking for black owned businesses (or something like that), so why should they not direct that traffic to relevant businesses to help balck folks out.

It's not Google you should be mad at (although as internet marketers we have so many reasons to), but we as a people. Why should the presence or absense of melanin (skin pigmentation) ever matter, especially at this day and age?

Will be interesting to see how many businesses choose to adopt this, my initial thinking is this is more targeted at small and local businesses that already exist in black communities.

I also like how the icon for black-owned is a completely different colour and style to the other icons that are shown on a business listing, very good way of slightly increasing search visibility without changing rankings if these are shown on the SERP/map-packs
