Increasing Youtube Video Views with Website Traffic?

Hello Guys,

I don't remember exact trick but there was a thread here long ago about increasing youtube views using website traffic.
You need to place embed code or url in website source code. And with the flow of traffic & visitors views get updated.
So basically it runs in the background without any sound.

I have done this in past for sure but I don't remember how did I do it?
If anyone have came across to thread or similar trick, please share.

Without sound? Video has to play with sound for it to count as a view right? Only way you could get this to work is by forcing to the user to play the video without it autoplaying.

No, Even if you play a video with mute it does count a view. My query was something different. I need to find a piece of code to put on website source. When user comes to website he will browse the website and views will get added in the background.
I know this was working in past but just don't know whether it works now or not.

Never say that, especially if a child can sell a clipper into a house. If you got a huge traffic website as an admin, it could easily work and not only that his idea is fking genius and would slap 2 flies with one catch. God damnit, i can work with that! Not only by creating various blogs, quiz sites but also generating traffic to those through different social media platforms which will create a loop into my youtube video views, which will than create more views because people get more impressions, especially if they're logged to their youtube account they will get linked to my video through that trick. Guys you got no imagination, think bigger! This could go on and i could go to sleep now and stop writing and try it out the next few weeks and answer here or maybe even make an exclusive BHW video for that explaining on what you can do in length.

Similar tactic that the Daily Mail newspaper uses. You click on an article and a small video pops up either on the article or in a corner and it plays as you are reading/scrolling through the article. There must be a plugin for that.

There actually are a lot of these and you can activate them for mobile traffic. But he wants specifically to fake the views in the background. Did you know that you can use "elementor" to make a header with a youtube video that will automatically play without stopping? It will play in a loop and you can even make it mute, they cannot stop the video, because it is non existend..why the fuck did i forget about that? I even used it in one of my shops..back in 2018..

WAIT, even shopify had that feature! I'm pretty sure about that, because i also made a one item store with an advertisement video on the top, that started when you opened the website, ofc i made it short, but it also played in mute and used my youtube link, i even got views from it.

That's pretty awesome if it counts as a view. I suppose if it plays as a small video and starts off in mute like Facebook videos that could still add up as views if they view it for long enough surely? As for being fully in the background, that's completely new to me but hats off to anybody who does that.

But as the guy above you stated: It might not work anymore. Ofc i could test it and answer it in about a week, but i'm already trying to create 2videos daily, one for BHW, one for the same topic for youtube. Work on one website, have fiver gigs as an editor and still want to make my demonitized channels into new ones that i can monitize again somehow..so i dunno if i'm even gonna test that, if i'm not done with making the videos, i mean what should i drive traffic through if it doesn't really exist yet..one video? Maybe you could try it and give us a feedback or maybe even a whole guide on how to do it!

i didn't just said that... trust me, similar methods worked in the past, years ago, since then youtube evolved even more and blocked many different delivery methods.
anyway you can go ahead and test if you like, but consider that auto-play embed videos will not count as valid view, mute play of video will not count as valid view.
only view that started with a genuine user-click will count as valid.

a website admin with huge traffic will usually prefer to monetize his traffic in many better ways than just send it to youtube... but some do sell ads that you can use for that, it's not cheap traffic.
and bot traffic will never convert to youtube views...

I know that bot traffic won't convert to youtube views, but people seeing "100.000" views on a video are more of a reliable source than a video with 100views..that is a fact that even you cannot deny, i mean would you rather watch "Hey Jimmy with 100.000views on how to built a robot" or "Johnny with 100views on how to built a robot" we know that the majority tends to click on the higher numbers.
I think it sad that it doesn't work, but it would be so messed up if it did..imagine the possibilites..I mean you could make a java script on playing the video in the background with sound on "like clicking onto it" and even muting the website or having the website on such a low volume that no one would reconize it.
It would be like an embeded video, without people realising it, it would count as view because it is not really an auto play "the first click" people do on the website will be playing the video in the background like an invisible start button.

Edit: My imagination went wild on this one, i'm too tired, but i can imagine it working perfectly fine, i would need to test that. But i really should go to sleep. I come up with so many ideas right now and cannot go to sleep if i stay up any longer..because i really want to start right now. But should get some rest.

Guess why i have created my journey, i want to help people to do exactly that and yes i will provice future guides with these things, already made a blueprint for myself today, i actually wanted to upload a video, but couldn't get the script done, so i made a blueprint instead.

I have done this and its not simple . It was a long JavaScript that played the video without user clicking it. I would insert 3 to 4 videos and it would play without audio and at .25x playrate and counted as view but last time I tried it didn't worked so good luck.
