Hello again BHW,
Long time no see.

So my current business venture is IPTV. For those of you who don't know it's basically cable TV but over the internet! It also supports VODs (e.g. Netflix).
This is a very profitable venture especially from where I live. Hopefully this will turn out good and I will have a decent monthly income from subscribers.

I am running my own server as to avoid paying a monthly fee and to put in use an old PC i had laying around.
Specs: Dual Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD. So yeah nothing special but it does its job well.

Running Xtream UI as my admin and reseller panel.

Looking into marketing. There are many ways to market this stuff and it is not limited to my area but internationally. Also it is not a physical product so no need to worry about shipping. I am going to try and use Facebook Marketplace and groups as I see a lot of potential there. Drop a comment if u have any suggestions ;).

I currently have ~500 channels from Europe and North America and am looking to expand into the Asian market as well.

The prices are pretty low as to stay competitive with other providers. Also my motto is quality over quantity as not to leave a bad impression to the customers with low quality channels and VODs.

I also am offering a 3 day free trial to the customers so they can see for themselves.

So the only expenses i am paying is the power bill. Which is pretty low as electricity is cheap around here. Also the server doesn't use up that much electricity.

I'm gonna keep you guys updated on my journey,
Wish me luck!

P.S. If you have any suggestions drop them in the comments ;).
Also stay safe out there!

What is a typical price for a product like this?

Good luck!

why didn't you use VPS? is it still work if your server use VPS?

I did use VPS but i feel it is better for me to just host my own service. And also I had a PC just laying around and it is working very well. But yeah using a VPS is alright.

Instead of a monthly subscription have you tried encouraging a one-off payment that expires after a year? Also how are you planning on communicating with customers if there's an issue? Over skype or a public discord? Good luck

Yes i have multiple packages.
1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month.

I am using Email, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Viber for communication. Pretty much everyone has one of these. Thanks!

Moved to My Journey Discussions, but this looks like and smells like a veiled sales attempt too.

Good, then all that is left is to offer affiliate commission or extend packages for those who promote your services. You could also consider promoting on IPTV-focused forums and I've even seen people advertising this on Aliexpress but I'm not sure how long you can get away with that one haha.

Yep also seen those on aliexpress. Worth a shot eh!
Also those are some great ideas to spread the service. Thank you very much!

Any guides or resources you recommend to get started with iptv?
