Hello fellow members!

Welcome to my first journey.

Now enough with wasting time, let's get to work.

Small intro - Mohd Zaid from India, a noob blogger who wasted 1-year thinking blogging is tough without even trying.

About this journey -

1. Start working on my 4 month old domain.
2. Find low - medium competition keywords from ahrefs.
3. Write and publish daily 1 article. (700+ words)
4. Copy Competitor's backlinks. (Daily 2-3)
5. Apply for Adsense.
6. Not spend a single penny.
7. See if the site reaches $200-300/m mark at the end. (How much do you think it will make keeping in mind I know basic SEO)

This is what I will do for the next 3 months and see if I can rank the site. I chose technology niche because there are still many kws that big sites are not targeting.

Purpose of posting here - I am a very lazy person and keep finding excuse to not work. Now that I have created a thread here, I hope to complete this journey out of peer pressure lol.

P.S. I will be digging the forum for useful threads for backlink opportunities and about how to optimize content. But I will be really grateful if you can post your bookmarked gems here in the comment section.

I want to just start and I have heard that Adsense is good to go for starters.

I feel that's a long shot if you're planning to monetize with AdSense. You'll need at least 1000-2000 pageviews/day to reach that level (more if the visitors aren't from high CPC countries)

What'll be your traffic strategy?

If you are going to rely only on Google, it'll take more than 3 months to get decent rankings. You are also not going to spend any penny so will be hard to outrank top tech authority sites this fast.

Maybe try smaller with a $50/month goal and then invest more into your blog to scale? Just a suggestion.
