Hey guys,

Maxbounty had started to redirect traffic that is from a wrong country (not the offer's country) to stupid joke landers...

imagine that a Facebook Bot or an Indian contructor of Zuckerberg would get redirected to this joke - just because he has an IP from a wrong country:

i've got redricted there from an Insurance offer (WTF?!)

Well you can just redirect the traffic yourself to somewhere else

You're right but it is still very dangerous for newbies or ppl who doesn't know about this... such a shame that a big company like them are being so greedy

Almost EVERY CPA network does this.

Like @BassTrackerBoats said, it's not only Maxbounty who's doing this .

I would still have to say that it's bad... many trackers can't really redirect wrong traffic to another offers if the traffic came from FB, since it is recommended to use the LP pixel instead of URL tracking... and LP pixel doesn't support rules and different offers for the inner CTA

This is 100% normal. Affiliate networks have had redirects in place for years.

Bad for who? It doesn't take long to set up a landing page, and in most cases, it'll convert better than direct linking.

what are you talking about bro? who said i'm direct linking?

If you are not direct linking.. you dont have to worry about it. And almost all if not all do redirect to other offers if its not within country... So I am not really sure why are you complaining here.

Bro, as a man who doesn't want to get banned from FB after 5 minutes - i'm using LP pixel tracking of my tracking solution instead of URL tracking.

when traffic enters my lander without URL tracking - my tracker can't give me the option to multi-offer or redirect traffic that didn't come from the US and pressed the CTA

So, if an FB moderator (and most of them are sitting in India) would check my lander and press the CTA - he would get redirected to that crazy offer which violates FB guidelines with like 1,000 ways.
If I had the chance to redirect him to a vanilla page before MaxBounty would redirect him - I wouldn't complain so much about it. but I can't!

any solution for that?

I don't understand you guys. where did i said in my post that i'm direct linking? i'm not! please read the comment above you

cpa company helping you earn more money, and this is why they show different offers for non eligible country.

This is a pointless thread, CPA networks always did and will continue doing so, use a landing page with a script redirecting by country or obtain more targeted traffic from a certain location.

yeah, bring insurance interested traffic to a stupid sweep lander which has a domain and design that says "i'm a virus/scam!". no thanks.

You're bashing a top affiliate network for something so trivial. I think everyone's trying to make sense of this.

Ok so you're complaining about the clicks from you LP to the offer. Just setup a geo redirect on your landing page then. Problem solved.
