This guy has 1k backlinks to his goarticles article

I was doing some market research and found that this guy appears on the first page no matter which "yeast infection" kws I search for in Google. He has more than 1k backlinks to his article, but the problem is when I go to these pages I can't find his link on any of them. I am really confused....what do you think is he doing here?

I can confirm that, only 3 links, checked in yahoo site explorer and backlink watch.

Can you tell us what tool you used to find the 1000+ backlinks?

I see 1000+ links. It looks like he injected his links and removed them after the page has been indexed or the website owner fixed it.

Webmasters might have found the article useful and could have added it in their Blogs and sites along with the article link, Simple

Well it is possible that the sites would be having the links when google crawler visited then.
