Hey admins hope yall are doing good

just a quick suggestion let's say I want to sell a small / specific service not something huge like these marketplace threads with 20 options

Like I have 1 article for sale or looking to sell 1 backlink on 1 website or a micro services or some sort... hopefully you understand what im saying

Why dont we have a forum for that? BHW can still charge ppl to do it but the approval process should be WAY quicker and easier, and obviously a cheaper price like $5-10-20 per thread? thats a good way for the forum to make more money and the users to get more services...

That will be too much work for the mods.

Maybe but it will bring in a LOT of money to bhw imo...
idk i dont think that should be the reason

you dont see amazon.com expanding and Jeff saying "nahhh lets not make more money thatll be too much work" lol.. too much work they can hire ppl that will do that if its profitable for the forum...

Suddenly people would start selling whatever they want/can find. Not a bad idea though but i dont think that will be available in future

I've been wanting to suggest this for so long but didn't for the same reason that is stated above. Too much work for the mods to manually approve everything. But if this happens it would be great. People can sell one off items like an instagram account or a website etc. It's definitely feasible if BHW can hire a couple of staff to work on it full time.

There actually has been some discussion with some elements of the original post a bit back but 2.0 updating took over and much of out staff discussions went there.

I'm sure we will revisit that again in the future.

To be honest I would love to see something like that as well. The problem is, if someone only has one thing to sell... Would it make sense for him to provide fees and review copy to sell it? Plus, we will have millions of threads in the bst section in a few years. Interested to see where this goes. Sometimes, I also have things that I wanted to sell for a short time. This feature will be useful.

Awesome man thanks for the answer
As far as everyone that said "too much work" - guys ya'll are doing IM have you heard of 'outsourcing'? its a brand new concept i came up with where you outsource the work! brilliant right? you use (some) of the profits from this "mini " marketplace, to pay the new employees, i dont expect the mods to do all this work... so yea too much work isnt an answer.. it should be approved based on whether its a profitable idea for the forum or its not.

I know i will sell on this forum heavily as i have services to offer but none of them is a HUGE service that fits the 'normal' marketplace, soill def pay the forum a lot in fees which is a good thing.

Is very hard for admins now to manage even normal sales thread I guess as most of them get approved after 1 month, before when @BassTrackerBoats was leading most of the reviews was lighting fast, now we arm ourselves with patience.

But indeed, pretty cool idea.

The "Mini" Marketplace forum wont need as much supervision.
It will be just a simple type of forum. you pay the fee, you offer a service, maybe theres a review from an admin maybe not.

Example :
I have a super strong domain i want to sell links on.
I start a thread : Selling a link on my DA 50 domain.
Thread details :

Service: a backlink on a Domain that is DA 50 PA 50, in any niche except porn and gambling,
price: $50 per link
Refunds: within 24 hours

Thats the format, if you dont post like this your thread isnt approved. period end of story....

That whole thing is an example of course, but you get the point
I really believe it will make a ton of money for the forum + provide some awesome services for users that do NOT fit the regular marketplace.
