How long did it take you to write well

You keep getting better and better. You really do.

That said probably 18 months if I had to guess.

Anyone saying a few months is kidding themselves. The quality of their writing will be clunky and lacking elegance - and they'll only realise this once they're better.

It's painful to see some of my early copywriting. Shit is horrid!

It depends on what to write. Sell article or rewriting tech product review.

I mean copyrighting and content writing are different. In copyrighting you must write text to sell something, in content writing you must just do rewriting and review without clickbait headlines, marketing tricks. So content writing is much easier than copyrighting.

I do both. And honestly good writing is good writing.

An article is also a sales piece. You're not selling a product, but you're selling the idea or point you're trying to get across.

Feel free to see my post history. You'll see the sentences read smooth and easy. I get my point across quick and it vibrates with personality. That's good copywriting.

There are several.online courses that teach you how to write better and faster. I think the best way to write is to read and practise. 30 minutes a day before you sleep is enough. one more tips: write content that is simple and anybody can understand... show people how to do something.

That true, my partner works in aviation and writes content for top aviation blogs and training websites. I see her spending hours doing research before writing even a single word. Then once the content is written, she would not publish it straight-away, instead she would just let it sit for a while and gives it a good review with a fresh mind. She gets paid a fair amount to write training material etc but I can see she earns every bit of that.

It's bad you can't write good articles because you non-native And if your native language is like german or else these types of languages are simular to English, so it is much easy to understand english. Russian is opposite it's not similar to english.

I know you mentioned non-native speakers, but writing.. even for those that are native to a language can prove to be challenging. I don't think that this can answered by a simple response. Writing is something that you continue to tweak and improve with time. There's always more work to be done and improvements to be made with respect to expressing yourself.. in this case in the written word and certainly the same is applicable to communication orally as well.

As usually , when you want to make the good content, you need to provide the special research about how you can make your content with the best form, as you wish. For example, try to check the some forms of your writingn style, after this - check the grammarly and make your wishes in the best form of your creativity.
Also, if you feel the some problems, which you want to show for the other people, anyway, you can use the texterro as the good content creator.

I have studied at a university so I had to write a lot of professional content. Practice makes perfect!
