Hi friends,
in these days i'm setting up my first business online.

I created my website and make some analysis about my niche and i ended up to set the home page as a text-only landing page.

So, for the first time, i had to face copywriting.

A short premise.

I provide services such as VBA programs/Dashboard/Data visualization.
VBA has good opportunity as a business, but the main problem is that the majority of people who could benefit from it are unaware of its existence.
Therefore, they are unaware potential customer.

The website born as a portfolio but i want it to be able to help me getting new customer.

That's the reason why i choose to go all in with this copy-writing.

Please notice, it's the first time for me and English is not my native language.

Target: CEO, manager, small/medium business owner with lots of ms office use. In the copy-writing i thought about them as unaware potential buyer.

Goal of the landing page: get their contact throughout the service "Processes Analysis", which is free but offer me precious data to make a strong offer and negotiate. Basically, click a button and fill in a form.

I thought the structure of the copy in this way:

  • Tracing/Identify the target: make them think "oh, yeah, it's me"
  • Define the problem (moving towards awareness)
  • Try to evoke a bad memory related to these problems
  • Touch on the solution
  • Real case story with outstanding results
  • Introduce the tool (VBA)
  • Explain them how to move with call to action to a free analysis
Note: the form for the analysis is not ready yet.
I will offer a form they have to compile or, if they prefer, book a chat/call on skype.

Also the other pages of the website still have to be completed.

I'd like to ask some advice about this copy, i've written it more with intuition than experience or knowledge.

Here it is: https://vba-automation.com/

Many thanks in advance

I think that it seems a little too salesy and greasy especially when selling to highly successful and intelligent people. I would give some more specific examples and case studies to make it seem more legit.

Thank you.

Do you mean insert more stories in the copy?

Or just on the website?

Considering the latter, I'm gonna update in the next weeks more projects in the portfolio.

What shall I do to result less salesy?
