Question: Why is my link not showing in Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush?
Answer: All big sites like Wikipedia, Amazon, Reddit, and so on are not with priority crawling by the SEO crawlers.
Everybody can check if the link is indexed. Place the full URL on Google.
Example Wikipedia page:
After that, check when Google cached the page.
Example:
You can use this tool too https://cachedview.com/
The Google bot crawls your link.
Also, if your website connected with Google search console, you will see all backlinks to your site on the GWT dashboard first.

Does this work on new sites that are just a few days/ weeks old? Meaning will this boost the site/ ranking? If not, is it worth it to get a Wiki backlink for newer sites with not link profile?
I think better start with some type of foundation or branded links.
