2) you would need to identify in what sport you are good at predicting, take a year predicting stuff with iconic money so you can work on your bankroll management too.

None that I know of for sport betting specifically. But if you want to get into machine learning I recommend Andrew Ng's course on Coursera. He's the G.O.A.T.

Well one way would be modified sure bet with power of big followers group.

You bet on one team to win, then post bet pick on big betting forums so other bettors follow you to bet same team to win which cause odd to drop.

Then you make sure bet by lay that team - team will not win.

Example
Home team to win at evens or odd 2.0

You make bet pick home team will win at odd 2.0 and 1000 bettors bet also on this bet pick.

Bet odd drop to 1.80 so you can now bet home team will not win and you have a sure bet around 5%.

Better than have money in a bank for 1% interest in whole year.

Sometimes odd can drop even faster with just post bet pick on big forum even if only 1 or 5 other bettors bet.

Voting would be one aspect of it perhaps. I do not know what variables your process requires, but if the "match" is treated as a tournament with 12 +/- teams/players that work their way down to essentially 2, then ultimately a champion, and if you could correlate your existing criteria with political variables, then you could have some great insight.

Even if your predictions do not work, then yes, you would still most likely have some scraped data that could be sold.

After reading the research paper "A common-opponent stochastic model for predicting the outcome of professional tennis matches by William J. Knottenbelt, Demetris Spanias and Agnieszka M. Madurska. - Source: Science Direct", I started building a Python app that uses their model to calculate the probability of the winner in Tennis matches. Due to the nature of Tennis: no draws, only 2 players, player serve games after each other, the math and statistics involved is more reliable and easy to work with than many other sports.. It's not 100% win-rate, but.. Combining this with Kelly Criterion for long term growth and not betting on every single game, I've been building up my betting bankroll significant.
