Questions About New Ebay Store - Wholesaling Items

I was going to start wholesaling items on my eBay store.

Since I want to focus on products that sell rather than one particular niche, my strategy was going to be using tools like Zik Analytics and Terapeak to spy on other stores that have products that have a high sell-through rate and high sales volume and then source those products and list them on my store optimizing the title and listing.

Since this is my first time doing this, I wanted to know from those of you that focus on wholesaling (not dropshipping), is this a viable strategy and the proper way to wholesale and resell items on eBay?

Also, would eBay not favor my listing if they see my store is not focused on a particular niche and is scattered with many different products that could be unrelated to each other?

Hello niche stores on eBay are better for these reasons - You going to know what are You talking about sooner or later, because customers will ask You questions about items again and again, so You will know what the hell You are selling lol. Niche stores have returning customers (thats super good). In eBay's search engine You will not rank higher because You own niche store, however You would have similar items, and You would just have raw Volume of items in that Niche, that means more sales.

General stores are cool on eBay, they will make You money, just consumes a bit more time. Optimise every listing and You will be good to go. Fun fact - on eBay, You can still list shi*, overpriced listings and still make money. Just do it!
