Site is down after changing DNS

Hello,
I don't have any prior knowledge in this hosting/DNS section, that's why seeking from help here.
So, I have a site which was on Ezoic for last couple of months and in order to use Ezoic properly I had to use their CDN.
But a few days ago, Adthrive approved our site so we changed our DNS to old one.
Apparently our site is down for 24h after changing.
Is this normal? or i can do anything?

24 hours is a long time. Although some DNS change may take up to 48 hours to become effective. My DNS changes always kick off between 30 mins to 1 hour. Maybe you should consider contacting your host provider to make sure that everything is fine.

I think so.
My DNS change also take around 1 hour. The longest take up to 3 hours.

that is not normal, it has never taken me more than few hours. Maybe you mistyped something?

First things first: contact your hosting provider.

I contacted yesterday they said it would take 4-72h, but when I informed them today they said it was due to a Glitch :|
