If you mean that you are not based in the US that's perfectly fine.

If you want to attract foreign traffic, then you'd be better off with local groups as Reddit is mostly US traffic.

As I am not a Reddit user and I never used Reddit for marketing, only a bit sometimes when searching for info, this Ebook gave me very good info how to do it also very nice insights. Gladly I bought this Guide, it got me a method so I'm starting working on it. I am in the plan phase now .
