Need Some Honest Advice

It seems like every other teenager my age has a lot of money and expensive phones, shoes, etc.

I on the other hand have no money, overprotective parents, an outdated android, and a low end Chromebook computer.

Do these teens make money on their own or is all their money likely given to them by their parents?

How could someone like me make money in my situation? It's not that I'm dumb or unskilled, I just can't seem to find real ways to make somewhat-consistent money. Not having money is having a very negative affect on my mental health because I can't seem to have fun or do things that I enjoy without it.

I have a lot of great business/side-hustle ideas but they all seem to take money upfront. I know some teens my age do sneaker flipping, but you need a few hundred dollars to start that, and I think that their parents gave them money to get started.

I'm not trying to complain or have people feel sorry for me but I really would appreciate any honest advice about what I should do. Thank you to anyone who takes the time out of their day to respond to me

Listen, I grew up broke, very broke. All my friends had nice shoes and the newest gameboy and I didn't have shit.

It felt horrible in the moment but it gave me a kind of drive that will last with me for the rest of my life. Because I know what it feels like to be poor, I will never get back there again, ever. So now that we are older they are all living middle class and will spend the rest of their life there. I am earning more and spending less than them to live a life of luxury.

Embrace being broke. I garentee in 10-15 years you are going to be in a better place them then.

you could:

1. Start one of the more affordable IM journies

2. Get a real job, start working.

Either way I'd bank on you being more successful than them in the long run. None of that stuff you mentioned mattered (other than the laptop). Who cares what shoes, phone, or any of that stuff. IT DOSN'T MATTER. You're going to be fine. Just take a breath, have some fun man, you're still a kid.

First of all if you are able to join some part time jobs wherever you live,you should start working if you wish to.
This will give you some extra cash for your regular trends and demands.

When you start working,you will have two options,Either you spend that money buying iphones etc or luxury/you use that money to fuel your side hustle.

Find out what you love,what are you passionate about and what you can do that will solve people's problems and even make you happy.

Start working on your side hustle,grind and go ahead.You will definately be way good financially some months later.But yeah,everything takes time so you need to be patient and consistent.

And if you can't join any part time job,then learn something.Don't just sit and waste your time seeing what other people have and what you don't
Learn some new skills that will help you in your future.

I grew up poor. I didn't care, I think because I was happy with myself. I was super healthy, athletic, gorgeous, very smart, spoke 3 languages fluently from a young age, girls loved me and everybody wanted to be my friend.

Since then I've done what you did, I compared, and I wondered the same thing. How can a 20, 25, 30+ year old have everything and never made any money. And I've been making my own money since I was 14 years old, and I don't have dick.

For most, like the huge majority, it's the parents man. It's gotta be the parents. The family, the connections. But the problem with that is that you gotta "play nice." You have to accept rules and be subservient and put up with shit. I don't put up with nothing, kiss my ass! I'll take the road less traveled all fucking day! My freedom is non-negotiable.

Don't do that, that's dumb. Go suck your dad's dick, enjoy your life, make it easy on yourself

You can start a WordPress blog from $40, and drive free traffic to it.

If you start learning you can have a stable income by the time you go to college.

So I'd suggest that you should ignore what other kids have, and start investing in yourself.

A low-end Chromebook computer is all you need. Most people here had no money, to begin with. If you're 15, you have 3 years you can spend on learning. You won't really need a lot of money up until you move on your own so don't focus too much on cash for now. Also, you won't really be able to do business "legally" for the next 3 years.

If you start a blog (or a few blogs) and invest 3 years in them, you're going to make a shitload of money by the time you're 18. If you learn SEO really well, or any marketing skill for that matter, you'll be able to close clients like crazy when you're 18. This will put you at least 5-10 years ahead of your peers, which only focus on dumb stuff right now. Always have a contrarian mindset and do the things nobody wants to.

Trust Me things that you have mentioned above are going to be the least that matter as you grow.....Satisfaction and Happiness are two different things.

There are some priviledge people and then some under priviledge people, never get discouraged. There are a lot of things that you can do and experience what others might not.

Best thing about this is, you are already beginning to see the struggles of life ..... I am assured that you have a bright future.... All the BEST...

Really, the best thing you can do now if you are that interested in making money is grow a new skill you are passionate about. It'll help you make money at some point but more importantly it'll help you grow as a person

Additionally, there are tons of things on the internet that free to start.
You are posting this, so I assume you have internet.
Your outdated Android is still good for building an Instagram empire.
Your old computer is still good for blogging for free on blogspot or wordpress.
Your service and skills can be sold on Fiverr, Freelancer, Seoclerk etc.

Once you have earned the startup money, go ahead and do the businesses you want.

Then after you fail with that, you will learn a lot more from your mistakes then afterewards, surely you will succeed.
