Has Twitter changed their rules?

Getting blocked every 5 minutes on all my accounts now. This had never happened.

Follow blocks, like blocks, etc. Three days blocked.

Also read that Twitter is carpet banning again.

Anyone else getting blocked more often now?

It is hard for me to create a fresh account there. I can do this but after it, I am immediately asked for phone verification.

I think all social media are very strict nowadays.

haven't tried facebook but they also need phone now

Agreed! Twitter is becoming more and more strict.

However, I only find the blocks to come when it's fresh accounts. I think they do it exactly for that reason; people to get annoyed they have to re-verify phone after JUST starting it in the bot. After you verify it again though, it runs smoothly.

I think we still got at least a year left of twitter botting before it becomes Instagram 2.0

The account that triggered all this was new tho. I followed 400 in a day and now it's blocked all over. I never left footprints and used tens of accts normally, now they're all being blocked. Something changed.

Using residential proxies. Mostly tweets that reward users somehow in a specific niche. Always worked fine. It's not just linked tweets tho right now any tweet is getting limited, even text only or + 1 photo which usually triggered better engagement.

Following 400 in a day? Those days are long time gone on Twitter, i'm doing 30-50 follows day no blocks /bans but my accounts are old.

I followed 400 in a day and now it's blocked all over.

That's the problem mate. I would not recommend to follow more than 100 people per day, and i wouldn't do that at once either.

What i usually do is: Get an account > Attach it to a proxy > Add all info (change username, add pic, banner, bio, etc..) > Let it age for a few days > Slowly start doing tasks.

Even twitter themselves only allow 400 Follows per day: https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/twitter-follow-limit#:~:text=What are the technical follow,to 1,000 accounts per day. - i think for a new account this is too much.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the PV's will dissapear after a while, so i just remove the number after aging my account.

400/day is way too high in current standards mate. I follow 40/day...

Yah, those settings are definitely too aggressive.

@LilMosey has a good setup that could work. Slowly build your way up and pass all the PV'S and EV's along the way. Should be only 2 or 3 PV's at most if you ain't going to aggressive.

Twitter got a big problem with spambots the last year. It's getting so crazy that they have to do something about this.

I remembered on each tweet i send, around 10-20 different spam accounts posting in the comments.
It was too much to block everything. So say thank u to all that stupid botting spammers. It would be no problem if they would just do f/uf - but this visible spam on every page was too obv and twitter had to do something about this.

Now its pretty hard to make new accounts for botting.

Yeah I noticed @rootjazz his software now has a lot of randomization features like skipping days and max follow like per day has a 1 - 100 incremental option etc.
@bartosimpsonio this happens every time there's a lead up to a major election - I noticed it in the UK elections.
They are trying to target the Chinese and Russian bot factories but carpet bombing us lowly IM'ers in the process.

No I mean these visible spam. You have official models who get tons of spam comments and everybody see that.
F/uf is more under the view.
Anyway I'm not pissed - I do only manually accounts and these spam comment bots were bad for me too. Happy about this changes.

Bloodsucking others doing the same = exploiting?
Posting spam on pages of people who also growing pages - don't talk about "we" if u damage others pages here with your spam.

I bet I make a lot of more clicks for offers with two accounts doing rtXrt than 1000 comment spam bots...

twitter is already like instagram, 50 follows a day, 5 posts a day, etc.

only thing im worried about is if twitter makes phone verification like instagram. instagram periodically prompts phone verification even if u didnt spam, and now, u cant change number on instagram at verification anymore (used to be possible)
