Don't worry mate, happens to everyone. I've lost more than $5k in one pop before, just detach from trading for a bit and try to realise that you'll look back at it and it will just be a shitty memory. Grab a beer and chill as much as you can.
If it's leveraged the position can be completely liquidated. ie. you have nothing to hold left. But looks stopped anyway.

Oil is limit up or limit down super fast.

Oh, I thought the question was did It stop before negative balance. Unfortunately no, I didn’t have a stop loss.
I woke up with a loss today and I tend to tilt easily.. the rest you guys can figure...

Had 2k left and at a certain dip(which i thought was the last for today) I bought like 1500 barrels..

Shit happens man. I don't claim to be a super trader either. I am just getting started, but I do put a lower limit whenever buying stock. Learn the lesson, and move on. I will do the same, learning from your mistake.Man, even I don’t know what I did.

I lost big money in trading using leverage several years ago, never tried trading afterwards. Lesson learned for you i guess.

Always use a Stop Loss lol, might be some good bounce areas coming up if it makes it down to 34.76~ or high 32s for a possible buy-in. (Futures CL1! - Just based on TradingView at a quick glance - haven't traded in about a year though so I could be rusty)
