where are the other GMB links going to?

Sounds like you need to build out awesome location pages on your website

ranking 4 different domains is going to suck donkey balls compared to getting one site to rank

currently the other GMB links are just linked to one of those pre-built google websites thats a feature of the GMaps listing...
I do already have individual location pages for each of the corresponding pages, and they are ranking top 5 for their hyper local search terms. However i do notice that when i link the GMB directly to these individual location pages, my overall ranking kind of suffers..

How long have you tested linking to the individual location pages before changing them back?

They are just normal pages right? eg: business.com/location and not a subdomain like location.business.com?

Hey growthjunkie,

Yep they are just normal pages like business.com/location. Ive tested them for about 2 months leaving them up there. The overall visibility of each of the 4 listings seemed to drop quite significantly during this period.

I was also wondering if its because each of the 4 listings are quite similarly named eg. Brand name + keyword + location. So essentially, only the location differed between each listing. Any idea?

Hello @ChadTKimball !

Can you please advise me?

If I create several black hat GMBs along with websites, how to create full citations (along with backlinks) if I do not have real address?

I mean most of the websites in my country like Yellow Pages displays address and require verification. In most cases even license number. Thus I would have to use fake one and I could not not verify GMB etc.; or I would have to find somebody whom I send verification code but then the companies might send mails to the person. On top on that real customers might go to the fake address or completely fake address just to find nothing.

Hi, must say... what an incredible thread, so much gold.

Question: how do you manage multiple GMB's? For the same niche and also other niches?

Or does google not mind you have dozens of listings all over the place?

@ChadTKimball Also forgot to ask:
Doesn't google view having too many citations look really spammy? wouldn't that cause you to rank lower? As not all citations have juice.

what are your thoughts?

thanks

You'll want to use proxies for multiple GMBs in the same niche according to Chad's method of keeping everything completely bifurcated. The idea with GMB control is to put up multiple GMBs, rank them, but not actually interlink them or have any of them traceable to one another. Operating multiple GMBs for something like a service-area business is strictly against big g's TOS, and all your listings will get hit.

Use different IPs, use domain name registrars, use different hosts, use different plugins, use different content, and DONT backlink to one another. Make the GMBs look completely different to one another, like they are completely different business run by completely different people.

Thanks a lot! very helpful info! Would simply changing my residential ip (turning router off and on) work instead of buying proxies?

I researched a lot lately. Trust me and just follow this https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/diy-how-to-create-your-own-4g-proxy.1234185/page-3#post-13299698

Wow! I was a subscriber to this guy's blog years ago, didn't know he was still around!

@ChadTKimball Hi Chad, I have questions:
1- How do i setup a listing in a city that i am not in so i can rent it.
2- When i setup a special number to receive lead gen calls to it, Do i have to answer calls myself or there's a technique to automate that?

I think with "Proximity" being the #1 factor in GMB ranking there's no way anyone can rank any business in the 3 pack & even if managed to rank, it will be on your own "Radius" not on all city or town so it's useless and that will be the end of this thread's whole idea i think Period.

Any advice on local medical seo? Stuff like doctors offices, urgent care, etc. I'm sure google has separate standards for them and normal blogs wouldn't work.
