I went through that thread over the weekend, has some excellent resources there. I tried posting with less popular tag and found that views increased by 50%, still need to find more tags which are less competitive (Tried this on account with 1k followers).
For viral content, what kind of tags did you select? Did you target tags with a specific number of posts/numbers of likes, as suggested in the thread above?

Yes.Hashtag is very important.I did my post on Instagram yesterday with account 1.5k followers and let guess what happen? my post have 254 like atm 3739 reach (3597 from hashtag) and 91% weren't following .But the funnything is i don't have any new followers from this post.M be my content not good enough.I will test more hashtag to see which one better with my size account.

I chose min number of likes as criteria.

I am little confused about that thread, can you please help?

I found 200 hashtags. So now I have to put them one by one in an Instagram search bar to find post count and like average?

Glad you found that formula keep focusing on your hashtags and content that will take you farther much easier than any blackhat method.

The great part is when the followers start rolling in daily because your post are hitting that explore page constantly.
